All Hands On Deck
The Captain is back. That would be E.J. Henderson of course captain of the Minnesota Vikings D. After missing 12 games last season he is reportedly 100% healthy and ready to make up for lost time! He brings some leadership and playmaking ability to the defence. I am excited to see what he will do next season since he was going crazy at the begining of last season. The Associated Press has a story on it if you want to read.

I can’t wait to see him rock some running backs.
In AP I trust
Just say no to Favre.

Great article!
Thanks for sharing it :), looking forward to seeing EJ bring it on!
Ah, ah,
We come from the land of the ice and snow,
From the midnight sun where the hot springs blow.
The hammer of the gods will drive our ships to new lands,
To fight the horde, singing and crying: Valhalla, I am coming!
SKOL!
you know he’s gotta be ready. last year he was a beast. and his injury? going on ir for a dislocated toe?? wtf kinda injury is that?
don’t get me wrong i’m not disrespecting the guy but he’s in the waiting room with some other nfl players on ir:
ej: what are you guys here for?
guy1: tore my acl
guy2: broke my kneecap off
guy3: 16th concussion
guy4: broken leg. what about you?
ej: dislocated my toe

Imagine if someone cut off both of your big toes. Then, imagine trying to play football without them.
Yea
‘And the wild things roared their terrible roars and gnashed their terrible teeth and rolled their terrible eyes and showed their terrible claws’.
i’m sorry i wasn’t trying to be disrespectful about it. just compared to most of the injuries in the nfl a dislocated toe sounds kinda lame (no pun intended) and isn’t the kind of thing you would think could derail a professional athlete for an entire season.

I thought the same
thing last year when it went down. But a friend of mine told me the pain is excruciating, and that it kills to run, let alone walk. Which I can understand if your toe is still dislocated, but after they pop it back in I would think he would be fine in 2-4 weeks. I guess I don’t know much about medical situations though, maybe someone who knows a little more could fill me in on why it’s so serious?

Well they said that one of his toes was dislocated but his big toe had a severed ligament (I think)
