After reading this Favre quote, he's less annoying to me
From an AV article (or maybe it was from the main STrib site - it's tough to tell the difference with their new and "improved" site...)
Anyway, Favre said, "I am just going to try and play the game the way we are asked to play it here. Make no mistake the horse on this team is Adrian. Everyone else knows that, too. We just have to be able to counter that." (emphasis mine)
That's pretty comforting to read.
There was also a Favre quote praising AD's work ethic and athletic ability, but also said that AD is a good guy, and people *want* to block for him. Does that mean that there are running backs out there who are d-bags, and teammates don't really give 100% when blocking for those guys? Curious....
