Saints bumetanide users benefit from Minnesota laws

Well at least Goodell got this one right.

Star-divide

According to Zulgad and Scoggins from The Tribune, Goodell has decided that as long as The Williams boys are not yet suspended, Charles Grant and Will Smith, from the Saints, will not be suspended.

Here's the paragraph and the link:

With no decision appearing to be close, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said Tuesday that for now, the league has decided against enforcing the four-game suspensions of New Orleans Saints defensive ends Charles Grant and Will Smith for using bumetanide. Goodell cited the fact it would not be fair to suspend Grant and Smith while the Williamses are able to continue playing.

good to hear...

He’s playing fair with the four at this point in the game.

I believe the 'push off' cost us 'our' SuperBowl...
I believe you 'go for the win'... instead of 'taking a knee'...

How much money did they save?

I think they owe Kevin and Pat some legal fee help?

Its bogus anyway

The league will end up drawing up clearer guidelines. Its way to wishy washy the way it is now. If it was clear cut they all would have served them last year already. They will end up losing this one but they will be smarter for it in the future. Save yourself the legal fees. Goodell seems like a smart guy. Why make a Federal case out of it when
it makes more sense to just do the research and outline a much more solid policy. Thats my take on it. Anybody think differently?

I don't think

the Williams case is bogus, but you’re right, the league dropped the ball on this.
