Ive been thinking
lol i know thats hard to beleive.... but.. what do you think of this. Farve is the QB inbetween the 20's and the goal line and Jackson is in inbetween the 20's. Everyone knows that Jackson struggled in the red zone or deep in safety territory. Plus this would save on us "wearing down favre" and he'll always be fresh. I know this will probably be confusing to some people but just think about it.

If you want Favre to pout and potentially retire in mid-season, it's a great idea.

First of all...
go away Packer troll.
Secondly…I noticed something during last week’s game versus the Browns. There were several times during the game that the cameras would show the Viking’s sideline after the offense had come off of the field, and Farve would be looking over pictures of the Brown’s defensive from the previous series. And Sage was the only other QB around him looking at the same pictures. Where was TJ? Why doesn’t he get involved in the discussion as well? If he is supposedly our future at QB (like many around here seem to think)…why isn’t he getting involved and learn from both Brett and Sage?

Bet you're pouting right about now after the Bengals rolled into Lambeau Field...
and showed us all how badly the Packers are overrated.
How about you go away and don’t come back? Your few posts I’ve seen on DN have been soley to berate the fans of DN/Vikings.
Actually I don't think that's fair.
I had a fanpost here get about a half dozen recs. And the comment above was designed to aggravate. It’s just true.
And yeah, losing to the Bengals sucked. As does our offensive line, particularly with Clifton likely out a few weeks.

NFL quarterbacking is as much about timing and rhythm as it is about knowing the playbook. Switching back and forth between QB’s is something that has been tried in the past and never worked.
There is a saying in the NFL “If you have two quarterbacks, you have none.”
NO WAY
If you want to get T-Jax more experience then simply put him in when we get a large lead. To take Farve out means no respect for the passing offense and 8 or 9 in the box against our run. No thanks. I go with the plan of having Farve get more experience with our receivers. Keep in mind. He has only practised a few weeks with these guys.

Putting Tjack in at the end of the game is COMPLETELY different than swapping qb’s during the middle of the game, which is what the OP was suggesting.
Putting in the second stringer at the end of the game is smart football.

+1
And the Vikings have tried it, repeatedly, through the years. It never works out well…
Ah, ah,
We come from the land of the ice and snow,
From the midnight sun where the hot springs blow.
The hammer of the gods will drive our ships to new lands,
To fight the horde, singing and crying: Valhalla, I am coming!
SKOL!
ok i was just seeing
what you all thought..
and im also basing it off of jacksons mobility but i know what you guys mean. No hard feelings, just throwing out there and it got picked off errrr apart lol
Any time T-Jack is on the field...
we’re a worse team becuase of it. I saw him on our punt team, and I instantly thought… shit heres a punt return TD… He has to be one of the most un-aware QB’s in the league. Jarmacus Russel might be worse… lol
...add #4 to the mix and see what you get... Championship.
You are certainly entitled to your opinion.
