Future Super Bowl team loses to the Bungles

Your 2009 NFC representatives in the Super Bowl, THE Green Bay Packers, have lost to the Cincinnati Bungles.  Congrats to the Packers on their miracle game.

Star-divide

Wow, all I can say is wow.  We started out ugly, but at least we pulled out the W.  If we could just get started a little faster in games, it wouldn't be such a nailbiter at the half to see if they are gonna come out with some urgency in the second half.  I will say this, our defense, however porous to the run in the first half, miraculously kept us in this game.  Thanks D!

REALLY??!!

You didnt pick against the Rams? There’s 8 weeks right there.

I believe the 'push off' cost us 'our' SuperBowl...

dropped passes

just about everybody Rodgers threw to dropped easy catches!!!!!! drive killers!!!!!!

I think Rodgers biggest concern would be his O-line letting him get sacked 5 times by the same dude.

Clifton = injured too. I’ll bet Jared Allen is salivating over that news…..

We are the vikings.......resistance is futile.

Tough day for Rodgers

He again couldn’t establish a pocket throughout the whole game, and consequently he never really looked comfortable in the game. I really thought the o-line just had a poor game against the Bears and would bounce back this week, and boy was I wrong. I’m starting to worry about the offense, and the fact that Clifton is hurt only makes things that much worse. It also didn’t help that our defense let Cedric Benson (yes, the one who was cut by the Bears) run for 141 yards on us. Lots and lots of missed tackles, 10+ penalties, and some horrid o-line play was our downfall.

Crosby again missed a FG again, our punt coverage was horrid, and somehow Jarret Bush managed to get to false start calls when we were punting.

We have started off the season pretty poorly thus far.

Cut the guy some slack

He’s proven himself a good guy here, and he’s baring his football soul here. No need to pile it on.

It's fine puddnhead

R4F is truly an imbisol. The guy claims to be 40 but acts like he is 12, and I truly mean that. I don’t think my 11 year old brother would say some of the stuff he says, but I guess were all different, and some are WAY less intelligent then others . (R4F cough, cough).

seriously, not trying to be a dick,

just so you know next time you call R4F that, it’s spelled imbicile. i just want him to get the full force of the insults that are hurled at him. ;)

Green Bay or the Windy City..... There but for the Grace of God go I.

Come on admit it

If Packers go south like last year, and Vikes are rolling … you might want to see Vikes win one for the Gipper (Favre). If nothing else, to hope it means he finally rides off into the sunset and you don’t need to be haunted by him another year :)

I had the bungles picked

I think their defense is underrated. The pack O didn’t impress me much last week.

remember

we play the bungles later in the season.

Seams like a lot of points scored in some of these games!

be cafeful what you wish for

Da Bares got the Steelers for their home opener without Polumolota hair. We have to play them at the Burg. Hey the Bengals would be 2-0 if it wern’t for that freak play by Denver. Don’t take any team lightly in this league. That play that got called back for the chop block was huge. I’m glad it wasn’t against us. It looked bogus to me. Detriot got a raw deal on that one. I don’t like bad calls by the refs no matter who they are on. That was the most single game changing play of the game. We were the better team and I believe that the cream always rises to the top but most games are only a couple of plays from being a different outcome.
