11!!!!!!!!
that is absolutely rediciulousand the packers are right below us
this is a shame
how are we not ahead of the cowboys and bengals
and i could make a case we should be ahead of the eagles, patriots, and falcons
i know we ahvent beat 3 great teams but two were on the road, and favre showed he still had some left in the tank
i believe ESPN rankings have us like 5

He has Wash ahead of Detroit as well
I really don’t take these things seriously, but they’re entertaining
So I write a blog, like everyone else on the Internet: www.purplebuckeye.blogspot.com
To each their own
Now at 3-0 at least the rankings start to get where they should have started out at. Seriously. The Vikes finished last season 9-4 down the stretch including the playoff loss with some quality opponents along the way. They made the freakin’ playoffs. They improved at their greatest weakness, the QB position, and had no key departures.
I just don’t understand why nobody thought we’d be that good. So many power rankings had them at or below #12 to start the season. That would indicate that they actually got WORSE over the off season. Retarded.
Now everyone is shocked that Green Bay looks no better or worse than last season despite winning the preseason super bowl and making up dozens of excuses of how the Vikings don’t deserve their record.
If the Vikings stay healthy they finish the season as one of the leagues 4 best teams. Period. They have the talent and dare I say it the coaching is a lot better than people think as well. Having a decent QB will start to do that for you.
Yes...we will see on Monday Night...
but this is… the Favre Factor working for/against MN…
and… Green Bay can do no wrong-itis.
I BELIEVE...

well
There are a lot of people who will tell you that not only is the QB old, frail and gives away games, but that he was never really that good.
The run defense is only average, the pass defense is poor and AD is one hit away from his next injury.
I don’t think those things, but those thoughts are out there usually dominated by biases.
Sour Grapes
Ah, ah,
We come from the land of the ice and snow,
From the midnight sun where the hot springs blow.
The hammer of the gods will drive our ships to new lands,
To fight the horde, singing and crying: Valhalla, I am coming!
SKOL!
Michael Silver is a classic Vikings hater...
and if you read his articles, you can expect that he will dis the Vikings. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen him say something positive about our beloved purple.
Should the Vikings lose Monday night, I would expect that his power rankings next week to have them somewhere around 20th in the league.
Hopefully this isn't a dumb question
But does anyone know if he is a fan of a team within our division? I would imagine that, similar to us humans (which some of them aren’t), that these sports analysts types have a favorite team as well?
Question
Why do you guys still read this guys stuff? You know he is a Vikes hater, and that’s never going to go away. To answer your question Figgs, I would guess he is a Pack fan but I don’t know for sure. While I thought we would be good going into to the season, I didn’t think we would be the 3rd best team (which is where Silver ranked us).
You guys are clearly better then #11, I as a Packers fan knows it, and you guys all know it as well. Just ignore the guys rankings, he obviously doesn’t know much about football.
He isn’t a Packers fan so much as a Golden Bears fan. So any player that played for the Golden Bears is going to be getting high-marks from him, and the team as well.
Haha
Oh well then that should clear up the biased he has for the Packers. Rodgers went to Cal.
