The Favre-to-Lewis play like you've never seen it before
Kudos to the guys over at Deadspin for recreating the Play of Week 3 in a way only they could think of--with a tree frog and a white gerbil. Definitely worth your 25 seconds.

They're on my Google Reader
And they contribute to countless hours of wasted work time.

Farve to Lewis play??? try this one....Its a classic
its a text book two feet in to win the game ,,,I can remeber as a kid in the back yard doing the two feet in toe drag….. to win the game in the last seconds …awesome football brought to life …okay even in my old age … I still pretend catching that pass …….

Two "extras" in that video that I like that you don't get anywhere else
1) The looks on the 49ers sideline: stunned disbelief
2) the audio of what Peterson said to Favre. It was obvious to me already, but it may not have been to everyone else: AP really, really, really likes having Brett Favre on his team.
There is an interview piece out today on Viking Age where he says that he really wants to win this coming game, not just because it’s important for the team, but he wants to do it for Favre. He goes on to talk about how he admires his dedication and work ethic, and even maybe says too much, that it’s the same kind of attitude he tries to have himself, and (this is the small foot in the mouth moment) he doesn’t see many other players put out.
Given how pissy Thomas Jones was about Favre in NY last year, it is a great relief to see there is a mutual admiration society going on between Brett and Adrian.

Can we replace Joe Buck with a Tree Frog?
I’m sure he’d be a more exciting announcer.
When you go to somebody's house, you don't crap on their floor. Being a fan of one team does NOT give you license to be a dick to fans of another.
Corollary: When people are visiting your house and behaving themselves, them being a fan of a different team is NOT a reason for you to piss in their beer.
