Harvin Expected to Make Trip to New Orleans

Per Judd Zulgad over at Access Vikings, Percy was at the Vikings' complex this morning and appeared to be fine.

So we've got that going for us. . .which is nice.

UPDATE: Harvin did, indeed, make the trip to New Orleans and participated in the final practice and meetings before tomorrow's game, according to ESPN.com's Kevin Seifert.

You didn't share most important part of story

Harvin appeared to “OK,” according to those who saw him

So it looks like this is “he could definitely be playing,” not just “he’ll come along just in case he gets better at last minute” or “he’s coming just like EJ will be (?).” Although “OK” is kinda weak … oh boy, here I go again :(

I think we really, really need to be full strength against this team. It’s more important this weekend than any other game — including, potentially, the Superbowl.

All right, just get him there and we’ll deal with it from there.

I suffer from migraine headaches too and mine usaully last a day and then I’m groggy for the next 2-4 days. If Percy has the same “recover time” as I do he should be ready to go by Sunday, but everybody is different.

I more than probably anybody outside of a “Harvin” last name want Percy to play on Sunday. We NEED Percy.

Being in NO could be better for him

It seems like everybody I know up here in MN has also had migraines the past few days, myself included. Some believe that the erratic weather has been a contributing factor to that, but nobody knows for certain. If there is anything to it, the best thing for Percy, when it comes to playing on Sunday, may just be to get the heck out of Minnesota for the next day or so.

For the record, we Saints fans want all of your players to be available and to play

if we win, we don’t want anyone second guessing our victory or discrediting it. I would think you would want our best team and effort as well. It appears pretty clear that whoever plays a better game will go to the Superbowl. Seems obvious to me that both teams have the ability to not only win tomorrow, but to win again two weeks later.
