Re: Favre's future

Here's the problem with Favre's legacy. He was the single most important factor in devastating your franchise over the last almost 2 decades and then you guys sold your soul to the devil and embraced him. Now that he's played one season and had the stuffing kicked out of him one game and needs to retire, he needs you guys to be the team he retires from. Green Bay no longer wants him. The Jets- think again. He will patronize you and you guys will accept. You will treat him like the false hero he's been for a long, long time. What an insult to Carl Eller, Fran Tarkenton, even Joe Capp- true greats. How about, I don't know - Bud Grant? Even Randall Cunningham- Cris Carter? I guess there have been other Minn. greats but I can't think of them. But, Brett Favre will move to the forefront- why? How many really good teams did he beat as a Viking? He will move to the top of the list-out of default. Don't let that happen. Ship him back to Green Bay. Pitiful.
