The NFL Says Goodbye to a Goodguy.
As all of you have recently learned Kurt Warner has announced his retirement from pro football. I say congratulations to Kurt on a great career and I wish the best for him and his family in the future. He has been an inspiration to a lot of people and has been one of the truly great players that others can look up to. He played the game the right way and I think he's leaving a legacy all his own. And on a personal note as a Viking fan I'm glad we don't have to play him anymore. HA HA!!!! So long Kurt.

great guy, class act.. but as you said,, I sure as hell am tired of playing against him!!!!.. congrats Kurt on a great career.. you did it the right way
Movie to follow
Kurt has a nice rags to riches story, or should I say grocery bagging to Super Bowling. After “The Blind Side” I bet Hollywood is looking for more.
Happy trails Mr. Warner. You can always un-retire when you get the itch.
He torched us in the playoffs on the way to the Super Bowl
Back in ’99. Kurt Warner was amazing.
At one point long ago the Packers had Brett Favre, Mark Brunnell, and Kurt Warner in their training camp. Too bad the Vikings didn’t have just one of them at the time (that was when it was the rotating free agent veteran QB era).
Great player! Awesome person!
A great great role model and someone for our kids to look up to. So glad our secondary won’t be facing him anymore! Vaya con Dios Kurt!
Deep respect
for the truly excellent player who boldly told us of his faith as the vehicle for his success. Thanks Kurt, you will be missed – you are always admired.
talk about going out on a bad memory
that NO game was gruesome for Warner…kinda sad it would be his last. The previous game against the Pack was nothing short of unbelievable.
Imagine…he had more touchdowns than incomplete passes in that game….5 TDs, 4 incomplete passes. Unbelievable.
I was kinda amazed, though, as a Favre fan, what a different on-field presence he has than Favre…running around barking at everyone (as in pissed). I can’t recall ever seeing Favre yelling at a teammate (could be I just never saw it).
