Because he didn't attend any of the practices.

Sweet, merciful crap. . .really?

Much Appreciated

Now we get a chance to watch Leonard Davis at tackle, seeing how our current O-Line wasn’t capable of stopping the Minnesota front four. a lot easier for the Boys to draft a premier guard at the end of the 1st than a premier tackle.

Well, In All Fairness....

…he really shouldn’t have been voted in this season anyway. Then again, this recent spectacle just adds to the red flags McKinnie has already had regarding his desire and commitment to be a respectable NFL player.

I want to defend him

I am defending McKinnie all the time. He had a great game against the Cowboys, and another good one against the Saints. He’s done well.

We would not like to trade him for the of offensive line continuity. We may need to upgrade the right guard position as it is.

If we trade him for a draft pick, what are we talking?

Come on, Bryant. We love you man. Don’t do this stuff.

aw well

OK, we can’t trade him. But Bryant, please stop drinking and partying so much. You are hurting yourself.

I love McKinnie

but he’s still a hold-over from the whole sex boat fiasco

Now he's saying that he was too injured to play and had to "withdraw".

Willis McGahee isn’t buying it, apparently.

Much as I love the big lug...

It wasn’t just missing practices. It was partying, tweeting about it, and missing practices…

I won a Twitter contest of his about a month ago, and he claimed he would send me an "autographed jersey."

Three weeks later, after asking for my address and jersey size twice, I received an XXXL (and very un-autographed) McKinnie jersey. I was not impressed at all with his organizational skills.

It’s sad to say, but this doesn’t surprise me at all.

I hope the front office remembers this

when he comes calling about a pay increase. Isn’t Pro Bowl appearances a factor in contract negoiations?

Maybe Rosenhaus is suggesting McKinney hold out on the Pro Bowl in hopes of getting a starting position in the Super Bowl.

Anyone who follows McKinnie on Twitter knows...

2 days after the N.O. loss McKinnie was “tweeting” about party this, party that. Just didnt give a rats ass about pro bowl. All about partying. probably got a free plane trip down there and blew it off. Dumbass….

Not Showing Up

Well at least he’s consistant. He didn’t show up to a lot of the regular season games either.

Zing!

When you go to somebody's house, you don't crap on their floor. Being a fan of one team does NOT give you license to be a dick to fans of another.

Corollary: When people are visiting your house and behaving themselves, them being a fan of a different team is NOT a reason for you to piss in their beer.

The guy is a d-bag.....

How often does he hit the club during the season?? For a guy who’s been suspended a few times you’d think he’d be more careful.

I say good for Mckinnie pro bowl is a joke this year anyway thanks to Roger Goodell screwing more things up.

How many Vikes play tomorrow?

I Know about a week ago we all wanted no Vikings playing tomorrow, but this is not really the way I pictured it…

by MAJTwister on Jan 30, 2010 11:18 PM CST reply actions

We still have 4

Adrian Peterson, Steve Hutchinson, Jared Allen, and Heath Farwell.

Percy Harvin, Brett Favre, Sidney Rice, Kevin Williams, Antoine Winfield, and now McKinnie got named to the team but won’t play (for various reasons).

hutch..

i thought hutchinson was going in for surgery on his shoulder? if he plays, that will really make mckinnie look like a pansy. he has some minor pains, won;t play in probowl, and his line mate needs surgery, but still plays. hutch has been to probowl several times, and still looks at it as an honor, but mckinnie, which i believe this is his 1st probowl, can’t take it serious enough to show up. i really don’t hold the probowl in high esteem, but i am embaressed that it’s a VIKING player pulling that crap. the orginazation has worked real hard to improve the team image. (btw, i think they have done a great job of it) now mckinnie has shone a bad light on the team AGAIN.
GO VIKES!!!
