Packer fans over at Acme are crying over officiating and missed PI calls. Sounds like they do the same thing we do(AKA NFC Champ game). But they've been calling us out for it this year. And now they not only are missing a running game, but they had major injuries to their TE's(knees), Rodgers(concussion), Mathews(hamstring), to name a few. And they don't like the coaches playcalling. Does this sound somewhat familiar? The Cheese is starting to smell and it's better than "Limburger".
For the time being, I think we have to look at closing the gap with the Bears. Their QB play was horrible today but they still won the game. I hope that all the upsets this weekend go in our favor for Monday night. But I don't think we need any more injuries, as I think we have been living with our share.
As a sidenote. I think also that the Favre allegations are being broadcast to try to overshadow the Jets treatment of that reporter on the practice field and in their LOCKER ROOM. That would be worse in my eyes than the allegations of a few pics and texts via cell phone by an anonymous caller from a phone that has already been verified as NOT being Favre's phone number. And did you notice how fast the NFL is to investigate a Vikings player over something coming from a site from Deadspin versus the Televised video of the Jets with the TV reporter??? I think that we get enough from all the political commercials.
We don't need this kind of garbage reporting and scandal investigating in the NFL. Goodell should wise up. We don't watch the NFL for all its dirty laundry. We watch the NFL because of the game itself. It's the NFL and not your momma's kitchen. It's the NFL and not the boys choir. If it's not a criminal matter, leave it alone. Private stuff for players should be kept out of the media, not have the NFL draw more publicity to it. Enough with being politically correct.
