Great special teams play by the Browns
Josh Cribbs fields the punt, starts out going to the right, and then throws it all the way back across the field to Eric Wright, who takes it inside the New Orleans 20-yard line.

Steelers bad early
They fumbled the opening kickoff, the Dolphins recover, and held the Dolphins to a field goal.
Now, on third down, Roethlisberger gets sacked, fumbles, Dolphins recover, and are on the doorstep again.

Stat from Chicago
As it stands now, the Bears are 0 for their last 23 third down attempts.
I, for one, would like to see this trend continue.
The Redskins would be in business if anyone on their roster could catch the football.

Good job, Buccaneers
The Bucs recover a Sam Bradford fumble, and start off with first and goal at the 6.
Two plays later, thanks to penalties, they had first and goal at the 26.
And then a sack on Josh Freeman makes it second and goal at the 38.
Yipes.

Good lord
At this point, I’m not sure if the Bears’ offensive line could block the Minnesota Golden Gophers.
If Jay Cutler wasn’t such an arrogant, whiny, crybaby biatch, you’d almost feel bad for the guy.
Almost.

Unfortunately for him, Fujita is a) no longer one of his Saints teammates, and b) a member of the Cleveland Browns, who the Saints just happen to be playing today.

Not this year in my mind. I hope the Vikes can get it together because our talent is undeniable! Injuries on the D is our weak point obviously
The bears truly are awful.
Their season is spiraling out of control.

Cutler's playing scared.
Not sure I blame him, but even when there isn’t pressure, he isn’t setting up or he’s flushing out of the pocket and running into defenders.

da bears
they don’t look so good….
that O-line is pretty pourous
if they had a decent o-line, I’d actually be scared to play them.
yup...
I see the bears doing some major work on improving their o-line
You guys probably can't access it....
… but Bob McGinn, who writes for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and who I’m convinced is the best beat writers in the country, has a great piece on Favre this morning. It rips him for causing the Vikings timing problems in the pass game by skipping the entire offseason in a “graceless grab for attention and money”, says he’s a sitting duck in backfield who can’t run, and who has lost accuracy and strength in his arm, and ALSO says that Packer fans know better than anybody he’ll still probably torch GB tonight and in Minnesota later this year.
I think that about sums it up. I hate the damn Vikings, and I hate Favre, but your boys are playing better than my boys right now.

And the eagles suck too. They cannot cover Kenny Britt and old man Collins is just throwing the ball up for grabs. I was a little worried about the eagles but not after watching this game. The only NFC team that I have seen that can beat the Vikings is the Vikings. Can’t wait for tonights game.

Fantasy gods not smiling upon me today.
I picked up Kenny Britt on Friday to fill in for some Bye week players.
Heard reports that he may sit out due to getting into a bar brawl late in the week, so I sit him.
What happens?
Oh, of course he runs away with 40 fantasy points. On my bench.
smh.
Ravens with the takeaway.
I picked them for my Yahoo Eliminator league, looks like I’m safe another week.
Soooo....
What’s Your Prediction for Tonight?
Favre: 23-30, 250 yds, 4 TDs, 1fumble
AP: 24 carries, 160 yds, 1 TD, 4 Rec, 40 yds, TD
Moss: 11 Rec, 120yds, 2TDs
Harvin: 7 rec, 75yds, TD, 98yd Kick Return for a TD
Jared Allen, makes his Triumphant return to The Land Of Sitting Duck QB, with 3 Sacks, 1 FF, 1 Recovery
35-17 Vikes
Also, does anyone know if Chris Cook is back?
Man we are set...
… if we win. Bears 6 turnovers, could have been worse. 8 fumbles in that game, 6 by the Skins but they only lost one of them.
We win, and we are 1/2 game behind a crappy Bears team, and 1/2 game ahead of the Pack.
Things are looking up if we can find a way to play on offense.
by HammeroftheGods on Oct 24, 2010 3:47 PM CDT reply actions
Just thinking ahead ?
1. Bears got there much needed loss to go to 4-3 before their bye week .
2. Miami’s one point loss to top rated PIT will add confidence to the Vike’s disbelievers that our loss was self-destruction and not that of us facing a very good Dolphins team .
3. GB is ripe for the picking . As they don’t get any help from their PUP team .
4. Can we go into New England and pull out a well coached win ? If so we will be sitting a top the North with a downhill road to the playoffs .
5. Hate to bring it up again . Health is the key to the next two games . As I see some easy win games ahead in the North for us in the next month .
The biggest theme of the day today is hold on to the dang football.
There have been a lot of turnovers by the better teams in the games today and it is leading to upsets.
You hear that Brett and AP?
The Bears most definately are who we thought they were.

There’s a Denver fan at work that is always badmouthing the Vikings, If we could just pull an Oakland type win on the Packers, I will harass the bastard to death tomorrow.
