The Vikings have posted the first images of Randy Moss practicing with the Vikings at Winter Park. Even with his helmet on, you can see Brett Favre's smile.

I'm guessing that smile...

represents about 98% of Vikings fans right now!

(Heech… I’m looking at you!)

I BELIEVE...

LOL...

Heech is a bitter fool who has hatred for #4….

I work w/ a guy who thinks Favre can’t do a pass for more than 5 yards… Boy is he misinformed.

Poor bastard has obviously never watched one Favre game or seen one ESPN highlight.

You ...

…guessed right, ArizonaVikingsFan. This was the BEST news since Favre joined us (and before him, Jared Allen, whom I also love).

No one can ever say that Wilf didn't go the distance for the Vikings :)

So true.

Wilf has been more than willing to lay out the cash to get the talent the team needs.

LOL

It was very nuanced. Not a lot of people would’ve picked up on that.

Those pics are riveting

Almost gave me goosebumps to see Favre and Moss working out together and seemingly having a good time.

Can’t wait to see the results on the field.

GO VIKES!

Let them practice Sippycup.

I am worried about Moss not getting on the same page by Monday.

What is so hard about ,“Run as far as you can.”

Besides, when a guy who used to run 4.2 speed now “only” runs 4.3 but has gained a wealth of receiving knowledge….scary.

Great PC for Moss!

Left ’em with a laugh, too!

Nothing could be finer greetings from carolina

Goose bumps for sure. I am new to the site, but have been a viking fan since 69. I can only say that this reminds me of when the vikes got Tarkington back from the GMen. How did that turn out? 3 super bowl appearances.

Thanks

Now if I could only spell Tarkenton right! sorry about that Fran the man. I can’t wait to see us come out of the blocks on Monday night. I am sooo glad I re-upped for sunday ticket, because the only other alternative in NC is to watch the (pussy cats)panthers. Go VIKES.

Pessimistic Optimist?

I know that Randy Moss has unnatural abilities to be able to jump linebackers in a single bound, able to fly through the air to catch a touchdown pass. But his history is marred by taking time off in the game, when he is not the designated receiver…. So who will be showing up on game day, the athlete we all learned to cheer his name, or the mud slug that is only worrying about his own statistics..?

Here hoping that Randy has learned his lesson from mistakes in his past, and will become a team player instead of a self-centered jerk…… ~Parnelli

Everyone we meet in life give us happiness, some by their arrival, others by their departure!

by Parnelli on Oct 7, 2010 4:02 PM CDT reply actions

I've got a sneaking suspicion...

…that he might frequently find himself to be the designated receiver.

by Curvespace on Oct 7, 2010 4:11 PM CDT up reply actions

Yeah

I’m pretty sure Favre has saved up a lot of mancrush for Moss that couldn’t possibly be exhausted in one game…let alone one season.

No one is getting Rubio's rights unless they pry them from our cold dead fingers.

by TheEvilProfessor on Oct 7, 2010 4:29 PM CDT up reply actions

Love it..

Your likely right..

Favre will jus be waiting to see him throw that hand in the air..

And boom there goes the pass…

by Deek on Oct 7, 2010 4:48 PM CDT up reply actions

I loved to hear Randy speak about Minnesota as Home . He seems to be in his comfort zone .

The dynamics of the Offense goes nearly back to normal .

  1. Moss , #2 BB , #3 Harvin and we need to know if Shiancoe will be back ?
As Sidney returns . I see #1 Moss(speed vs. #1CBs) , #2 Sid , #3 Harvin , #4 BB (speed for deep balls vs. one-on-one nickels) . Camarillo will allow Percy to play at times in the backfield .
A few Bears fans said to me they believe that Moss will be nothing but a distraction . I asked who is the bigger distraction ? Moss or their new DE Grant ? Isn’t he going to trial for a Homicide ? He and Tommie Harris need to share a locker . The Pack fans that have stopped swearing are still too shell shocked over losing Barnett(wrist) as he still thinks he should play as the doctor said . NO ! The ole second opinion coming as they bring up a LB from the PS . Burnett is already on IR . And the other pseudo-starter B. Chiller has a serious shoulder issue and is held out and already reported as Out in Washington . Three starters gone . With with three PUP potentials coming back in three weeks at the earliest . We couldn’t get PAD555 to stop cussing long enough to get a opinion on the deal .
Since APC and WCG has been banning several Vike fans as their season is all but over in their minds at 3-1 . I won’t be able to get a perspective from the other side of the fence . As Cutler couldn’t slip past the doctors . Collins will play about one series before being replaced by the Punter or somebody ? My bold early prediction is coming true before our eyes again ….. I stated that all three opposing QBs will miss at least 3 games in total by the end of the 2010-2011 season . Stafford has elapsed my goal by the end of week 4 . As all goes well . Cutler will be at 1 1/2 . And Collins 1/4 as Garza’s knee has him scheduled to create another carousel of changes on the O-line . The the nimble but slow throwing Aaron can’t tease his way 12 or so more weeks .
If we beat the Jets by 14 . Will the E*SPIN begin to show some love ? I won’t hold my breath . If Washington beats GB on the East Coast . Ya they will cover for them because of injuries . But will they finally leap frog us to #1 . Or do the Bears still hold up after the sad NYG shredded them ?

Bret and Randy today

Just watched Randy and Brett. Randy seemed excited to be back. I can’t believe how much he has matured. I thought the question from the reporter about his past was crap, I mean come on, save it for the trash paper. Moss’s response was excellent. Hope she isn’t a local. Brett also seemed excited, but reserved as usual. Can’t blame him. But again, he got some crap question at the end about some text messages to a intern, come on, who are these people? Hopefully this guy wasn’t a local either. I mean we are here to talk about football, save the other crap for CNN or ESPN, dam woodard want-to-be’s. Both reporters just pissed me off. GO VIKES!!!

Did you see the press conference today?

He looked like he was trying to play down his enthusiasm—afraid to show us just how excited he was. Priceless!

Old ideas bite the dust

“Are you ready? Hey, are you ready for this? Are you hanging on the edge of your seat?” -John Deacon, Queen, The Game album

(Yes Virginia, here comes that “Queen song” those looney Viking haters say that they’ve been hankering for. — This state’s bird’s for you, pals.)

So much for A. J. Smith’s idea that the Vikings are desperate and will have to cave in sooner or later to his unrealistic expectations on what he can get for Vincent Jackson.

So much for eight in the box to stop Peterson and forget about any of their receivers going deep on you.

So much for putting your fastest DB on Harvin.

So much for doubling up Camarillo on third downs.

So much for don’t get too deep and heavily defend those intermediate routes.

The Stone Age portion of facing the Vikings in 2010 is now over, my fellow Americans. It’s a whole new ballgame.

"I thought about this time and time again about how this thing was going to play out and ‘Is the love for me still here in Minnesota?" – Randy Moss

Freaknik – The love never left. It lie dormant like many living things during the Minnesota winters. As predictable as the seasons, that love was awakened by the sunshine of your return. I hope you had time to process all your emotions that come with returning to Minnesota, because that first home game (against Dallas no less) your reception should be unlike any since Odysseus returned triumphant from his odyssey. The fans are glad to have you back and can’t wait to see you back in purple!
