The NFL's homepage says the following under breaking news: Brad Childress told the Vikings Randy Moss would be cut, but Moss was not on Monday's waiver report.
This could be the end for Childress. From an outside point of view, it appears he decided to make the move without running it by management first, as there appear to be some front office people who do not want to cut Moss. How do you go to your team and tell them Moss is cut when that appears to not be the case yet?
Other reports, which appear to be unconfirmed, mentioned that some players were none to happy to hear the news. I heard that myself from Jay Glazer first, but we'll see what more comes of that.
If this team has any rally left in them, it will probably have to come without Childress as coach. Then again, to many of us, that probably is no surprise. It is about time for a change, and a coach that helps their team to win games, instead of the team winning games in spite of their head coach.
