I was enjoying a Chicken and Avocado Enchilada at my favorite Mexican restaurant this evening. There was a TV nearby with the sound off. The ESPN talking heads were doing their thing and occasional headlines popped up during their chat. I couldn't help but read that Jenn Sterger was reported to have given all she had and knew over to the NFL. I then had several thoughts:
1. Why can't a faithful and loyal Vikings fan get one hour of peace from all this Vikings drama this season?
2. What kind of idiot takes a picture of his crotch and sends it to a woman thinking it might make him more appealing? (note: I know he denies it, and I'm not saying he did it. I just had that thought at the time).
3. I recalled a few weeks ago that Jenn Sterger and/or her lawyer were reported to have said something like, "we're gonna do what's best for Jenn," and "we would anticipate that in any settlement with Favre that Jenn would sign a confidentiality agreement." Seems like that didn't work out for her. Now she's talking. So, here was my last thought: When does a legitimate grievance cross the line into blackmail?
I'm bumming. Poor Mrs. Favre.
