Minnesota Vikings Activate Sidney Rice

Well, I was wrong about Sidney Rice.

Judd Zulgad of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune is reporting that the Vikings have, indeed, activated #18 from the Physically Unable to Perform List prior to today's 3 PM deadline, which means he's on the roster and will play against the Green Bay Packers this Sunday.

No word on how Rice will be used or how many snaps he'll see, but at least he'll be out there, which is a huge improvement from what we've seen thus far this season.

So, finally, we get a little bit of good news in a season that, to this point, has been largely bad news coming from Winter Park and points beyond.

C'mon Sidney.

Tomorrow is the day to make up for all those lost touchdowns.

VERY GOOD

Now if we can get him to play D-LINE,CORNER,or even SAFETY,we might win more than 5 games this season.

I don't think you were wrong Chris

I think Rice had every intention of sitting it all out, but someone finally woke up and decided enough was enough. He has been practicing full speed for almost 3 weeks now, and by all accounts he looked great at his first practice. He was given the opportunity to step up for the team, and he failed, so now he just looks like a punk.

he was a nice bright spot in the game.
