I would like to remind everyone that I am part of the group of fans (about 95% of us) who wanted Chilly to go. I know I am going to get my behind handed to me for this comment but I will take my chances.

My Proposal: Let us stay classy and wish Childress good luck for his future. A divorce is nothing to be happy about, even when it gave us a train-wreck of 3-7 season. Childress tried to do what he thought was best for the team. It is just that he was not capable enough or smart enough. He will get his $6 mil but I cannot imagine he would be happy about it - as being claimed by a lot of fans. Imagine the shame added to the pain of cameras showing his assault on his chewing gum when the dome started chanting 'Fire Childress.' Everything said and done, I am happy that he is not with Vikes any more but let us just give a thought to what he achieved during his time here. Progressively better record for 3 years, Play-offs, NFCCG, recruiting so many good players and an amazing season last year. Let us just say goodbye and wish him good luck fr his future.
