Vikings At Redskins, Second Half Thread

Well, the game got off to a fast start, but has slowed down markedly since then.

The game started off with the Redskins scoring on their first possession, moving the ball 83 yards in 13 plays, concluding with a 10-yard touchdown pass from Donovan McNabb to Fred Davis. That gave the Redskins a 7-0 lead.

The Vikings, however, responded, notching a touchdown on their first drive for the first time all season, moving the ball 71 yards in 7 plays. Adrian Peterson played a huge role on the drive, catching a screen pass and going for 34 yards, and carrying the ball 3 times for 18 yards on the drive, including the tying touchdown from five yards out to make the score 7-7.

And that's where we stand now. No turnovers since then, no scores since then, and a whole lot of punting.

Join us here for the second half and see if the Vikings can kick off the Leslie Frazier era with a win!

Yeah. This week I'm stuck watching that game

I’m rooting for Atlanta, and the Pack have tied it thanks to an Aaron Rodgers rushing TD.

Now that Brad Childress is gone, the BCS needs to follow.

I think Atlanta will be the NFC rep in the SB

That’s a good football team right there.

Not if they win.

Can you imagine the relaxation on their side after a win like that?

leslie frazier's presser is sooooo much better than chilly's...

they actually let us fans hear the reporters questions, and leslie’s answers are straight forward and something that is enjoyable to listen to.

chilly was just painful to listen to.

I love it

Frazier didn’t know for sure that we play Buffalo next week. He really was focused on Washington and nothing else.

i'm just impressed with how frazier wants to give everyone some credit.

he has t oset a new tone, and i like it so far. plus, the ownership gave him a chance to play head coach….nobody else has, of course he is gonna kiss a little butt.

But if they can put up enough points they might do a repeat of the greatest show on turf

Tough with Clausen already there

But it’s not like he’s shown that much so far this year.

by Eric J. Thompson on Nov 28, 2010 3:24 PM CST up reply actions

Neither of these teams.....

will draft a QB in the first round……

Both of them used a high draft pick on QB’s this past offseason and it is HIGHLY UNLIKELY they will repeat it again.

by gerkvoltage on Nov 28, 2010 3:24 PM CST up reply actions

So you're saying Jimmy Clausen isn't a QB?

Way to be like 95% of football fans, lol.

Seattle, St. Louis, Detroit, etc. for not hiring Leslie Frazier? IF not…

I second that!!!!!

Seriously….how many teams have the luxury of having a head coach nominee fall into their lap like we have?

I think Buffalo is on that list too, right?

Thanks Buffalo!

I watched as much of the Viking game as I could on ADTHE

until my laptop (as usual) shut itself off without warning. I think it has a problem with overheating. It’s been doing it for over a year & even if I have it propped up so the heat can escape out the bottom, it still can’t handle sporting events.

Now that Brad Childress is gone, the BCS needs to follow.
