“I was shocked by it a little bit,” Vikings linebacker Ben Leber told reporters. “It’s something we have to stand behind. We’re not going to let it be a distraction or anything like that. It’ll be news today and then we’ll come back on Wednesday and it will be forgotten about.”
Today is Wednesday, and although I'm pretty sure the Moss waiver hasn't been "forgotten about", I certainly am not as upset as I was Monday. I actually feel pretty good, and I assume our team of professional football players are carrying on with business as usual. We have a home game against the Cardinals, which I predict get spanked pretty hard. I'm not even that angry with Childress anymore, although I still think this should have been handled much differently. My sincere hope is that Childress can keep his job for the rest of the season, because that will mean we're racking up W's. The freakshow is over, for better or for worse - let's get on with the rest of the season!
How about the rest of you Vikings fans? How are you feeling today?
