What in the hell is going on with the nfl these days? League Commisioner fining everybody for every little thing they do.

This week:

Kevin Williams got fined 7500 for a late hit. A late fucking hit! Thats what you get penalties for not fines. Shouldnt the penalty be enough i mean it cost you 15 yards and a 1st down.

Antoine Winfield got fined 7500 for hitting Cutler in the chin....the chin ladies and gentleman. Thats what that thick ass chin strap is for on Cutler's helmet to protect him from the hit. Not to mention 5'9 Antoine winfield was trying to slow up from hitting 7'6 Cutler on that play to keep from hitting him after he threw the ball. It just so happened that incedently the top of his helmet comes to Cutler's chin. What is Winfield supposed to do about that?

On top of that, Winfield got fined 10000 for wearing his socks too high. You mean to tell me that I have to pay only 193 dollars for a speeding ticket, but he has to pay 10000 for having his socks too high in the cold?

This makes no sense to me. Should the NFL players start protesting to these fines or what?
