All in all we had a pretty darn good season, yes the ending was not what anyone wanted, we have another season coming and I can not help but be just a little excited about it even now. (I think that there is some therapy for this but I am not really looking to get cured)
The weakest link in the overall football team seems to be the D secondary. Injuries seem to be the biggest issue. I was a big doubter of the secondary coming into the playoffs but they did pretty good in both games. A short field did not help these guys in the least. Do we try to help the secondary in the Draft FA or both?
QB: I hate to even bring it up but no one gives us a chance without Farve. I would like to see him come back, but if he does not; has TJ improved enough to play at a much higher level? Has the year on the bench behind a HOFer made the difference? If he has improved and given Farve decides to retire (i know I know) we may not do as bad as everyone thinks. He has a strong arm and is very mobile. If he has progressed, as hoped for, we should still do well.
Our D should get better and our O line should improve, also barring injuries our receivers and RB's should get better (AD will not fumble as much next year, I just made the prediction). We may be overall worse at QB but the mobility may win a couple of games as long as the mistakes are few.
I think we need to draft into the secondary and get what we can for the secondary out of FA. The question is who is the best available pick in the first round?
