Tomlinson a Viking?
When Tomlinson got released from San Diego, there were people who immediately connected him to the Vikings. At first I thought there are not enough carries for AP and LT. I figured there is no way that LT wanted to accept a reduced role. Now LT is in Minnesota with Vikings brass. LT has caught more balls out of the backfield than Chester Taylor over there respectful careers. In fact, with the exception of last season, LT has caught more passes that Taylor every year. I believe LT has been to blitz handling school and is a very good pass blocker. If LT accepts the reduced role, with his pass blocking abilities, I think this could be a good fit. Maybe with the reduced role he might get some of those younger legs under him again. It could also help AP with that pesky fumbling issue.

There are a couple of posts about this already mate
It's a lot easier to love the Vikings when they win...

brett sustaining longer drives will offer plenty touches not carries persay. this was the same conversation for chester llast year. everyone thought aside from money he was crazy to leave his dream role. not everyone can start and for chester most like him will never see one in chicago. not even close. the 2010 schedule is brutal and lovie is a coordinator in 2011.

Why I can’t remeber his name bugs me bu tthe kid you are talking of was an anchor. he also plays guard which would help the vikings in two ways. Very under rated at this point.
Would be a good pick for vikings. He might be available as late as round 3 by many experts, due to another run on OT’s See what is happening and get him in the 2nd or 3rd. Even if it means trading up
His name is Maurkice Pouncey
and he is a beast. I would love for the Vikes to get him. As you said, he can also play RG and I think that is actually where he’d play on our squad. Sullivan wasn’t (and will never be) dominant as a C, but he’s young and can improve and get stronger, and I think he is a cerebral type of center that they want to keep in place, given his knowledge of the offense. Herrera, on the other hand, was pretty terrible overall last year, and he is not getting any younger (or better), so I would hope to see the Vikes draft either Pouncey or Mike Iupati in the first round to play RG.
Also, on LT, I’m very indifferent actually, and given the guy’s (reportedly) huge EGO and (greatly) diminished skills, (not to mention his stupid rant last year that he was “better than AD”) I actually hope the VIkes don’t get him. I think he’s being used more to sell tickets than win games; the guy had a great career, but he has very little game left.
Where are you hearing he has a huge ego
because from the reports I’m reading, LT is a great locker room presence. And if he has good blocking, he can still get it done. He didn’t have the blocking the last couple seasons in San Diego, and so his stats dropped.
Maurkice Pouncey ?
Round 3 ?
Absolutely no way.
He will be long gone before our round 2 pick.
If we want him, it will be with our 1st.
And even them we have a chance that he won’t be on the board anymore.
