If you could have anyone who would it be
Ok I stole the blatantly off of CSC but hey it's the offseason stealings legal right? Ok here's the schtick I've been hearing about all these incredible people that other teams don't want anymore but who we need so badly Childress would be willing to wear a dress to get them (wait he does that all on his lonesome) So who do you want?
First there is no cap, there is no trade, we would have to get rid of the person who he's taking the place of but that's the only caveat. Now, isn't this more fun than drooling over other teams cast offs?

Mine would be Mr. Rodgers
not only is he a good QB but we’d be taking another QB from Green Bay and really does it get any better than that? Although getting him and tossing Favre may very will end up with R4F at my front door in the very near future with some kind of fire arm and a blow torch…
It's a lot easier to love the Vikings when they win...
Busted
Ha!
For you guys. I would say Nnamdi Asomugha or Darrel Revis

"I have seen women walk right past a TV set with a football game on and - this always amazes me - not stop to watch, even if the TV is showing replays of what we call a "good hit," which is a tackle that causes at least one major internal organ to actually fly out of a player's body."
For next year
That would be nice.
Even though he’s a punkass douche.
For this year, Asomugha, hands down.
"Last season, we knocked on the door. Next season, we’re kicking it down."
SKÖL VIKINGS!
SHOW YOUR HORNS!
Barring serious injury from said folks
I would agree with that as well.

Oh… that’s not what we’re playing here.
If you can't laugh at yourself... Who can you laugh at?
The Packers, that’s who.

If I could have ANYONE?
This is really a difficult choice… I’m kinda torn between Faith Hill, or Tricia Helfer, or Liv Tyler….
:)
On the off-chance you were talking about a football player for the Vikings, I think I’d have to go with Rodgers (Grime’s point is well taken, as usual) on the offense, and Polamalu on defense. A QB for the long haul and a high-impact, game changer in the defensive secondary. Anything else we can pick up in the draft :)

QB is the hardest to find.
But you said I have to replace Farve. Ouch. I really want Farve one more year.
C. Johnson over AP? No
Austin Miles or Andre Johnson or over Berriman? Maybe
Clay Mathews over Greenway? Maybe
I really find little weakness on the Vikings where one player could make an incredible difference this year. If I had to choose I guess I would retire Brett. I really like Matt Ryan and think he would love our offensive system. But can’t we play next year so I have one more year of Brett?
Winning is not everything but it sure feels like it sometimes
It actually amazes me more of you didn't pick up a QB
I mean yeah we might have Favre next year but c’mon our biggest hole for sure is behind center.

Your center has a loose anus?

Why do people from New Olawns like to use the word anus all the time?
Makes for a sh**ty post.

Why pick up a new QB when you have... The Fox!

I guess I took the question differently
I wasn’t thinking “franchise,” I wasn’t think long term practicalities. I was taking the question as: what one person would improve the team the most next year (and just next year) by adding them. Since I think Favre is back next year, for me, it’s Revis. That would solve a LOT of problems.
