Very Large Mulleted Man to Host Cable Sports-Themed Clip Show

Are you one of the fortunate people that gets Versus from your cable or satellite provider? If so, you're in luck tonight. The Vikings' very own class clown Jared Allen is expanding his media dominance by co-hosting Sports Soup.

Here's the official marketing blurb I received from the folks at Versus:

NEW YORK, N.Y. (March 30, 2010)—VERSUS, the fastest growing sports cable network in the country, today announced Jared Allen, All-pro defensive end for the Minnesota Vikings, will join Matt Iseman in the Sports Soup studio tonight to share hosting duties helping to review and re-cap the week in sports.

So if you're looking for something to watch tonight, Sports Soup might be worth checking out. According to the Versus home page, the show starts at 9:00 CT. I'll set the over/under on mullet references during the show at 5.

Should be worth a watch.

At this time of year and going through football withdrawal, anything that is almost football related is nice! I am sure Jared will make it entertaining.

Hockey is on Versus right now and its supposed to be on in 5 minutes… with 18 minutes to go in the game.. hmmmm you sure it doesnt start at 10pm Central time?

That Mullet

That Mullet is scary!! However I think he keeps it because it has some weird power to transfix O-lineman. Because he makes the best of them look stupid.
The best thing that can happen for QB’s in the North is if he makes the Madden cover!
Believe me Packer Nation was voting like mad for him!!
