New Jersey

Hello Fellow Norsemen (and women, if there are any here), I am in need of your assistance. It's safe to say that at midnight Chester Taylor will be hitting the market. Now I know this is a problem for all of us because we're losing the best 3rd down back in the game. But this is especially a problem for me because a few years back I decided to drop 250 on an authentic jersey of his (before Purple Jesus). Chester played his college ball for my hometown Toledo Rockets and despite the fact that I'm an alum of arch rival Bowling Green, I felt I had to rep both my hometown and the MAC Conference. Now I can't. This is where you peeps come in. I need some advice on who to invest my hard-earned money in. I said before the season that I would get Lord Favre's only if they went to the Super Bowl. White Trash Wonderful is an option because of how goofy he is (it cannot be a coincidence he wears #69). I've loved Phat Pat since he's gotten to Minnesota, but he doesn't have too long left. I'm kinda leaning towards Percy Miracles (feel free to use that nickname) because we both have a passion for that sweet marijuana plant. Please help a brother out with some advice and suggestions.

i thought you were talking about the state.

‘next time, i suggest that you don’t underestimate the staggering drawing power of the garden state, and get your ticket earlier.’ which movie is it? i love little asides from football.

but anyways, my vote goes with my hillbilly homeboy Jared Allen. the number 69 never goes out of style, whether he stays with the team or not, you’ll get years of enjoyment out of it!

I piss people off on a fairly regular basis. I cherish my right to speak my mind, whether I sound like an uneducated savage or not. I've never been accused of keeping what I think a secret, nor will I ever. Don't like it? I don't care.

Serker is right

I have been selling jerseys as a fund raiser. JA is a very popular jersey with fans.
By the way guys. thanks to you all I have enough to do my 1st volunteer trip and working toward the 2nd trip.
My suggestion to j greeds is to take the overstock and sell it at a price where folks who can’t afford high priced jersey’s can get one and take the $ and reinvest in another player. I often get to the point I have a few extras I get to fill an order. Favre’s did OK for me but are slowing down. It all is cause football is over. People will still galdly wear a Vikings jersey with pride. No one will ever dog on Chester. People will still wear with good memories. I just hope we keep him too.
Right now offer your best price or at cost and re-establish. If ya don’t want the hastle write me and I’ll see if it is worth it for me to sell them.Write me Might as well put a PS advertising.
I will be making a new order soon. If you guys want me to put in a special order for ya drop me a note. New orders are 40.00 DN special
I have the following overstock if anyone is interested.
1 Size 50 white Favre with Capt patch ( Really nice)
2 size 52 Favre’s one with Capt logo , one without
2 size 52 Titans CJ Navy blue

Ohhhhhh....new (pause) jersey

not the state. Because I thought you wanted my opinion of the state. But wait! We can kill two birds with one stone here:

"We're used to Favre-a-palooza now. We're engulfed in Favre-a-palooza. It's not even Favre-a-palooza anymore. He's family now."

Comardie traded to Jets

Yah. Spelling is wrong.
Any of you guys want a fan post for late nite talk on FA and Favre Leno interview?

Favre jersey

If you get a Favre Vikings jersey, you will always have something great. If you already have a Chester Taylor jersey, just keep it. He has been a great Viking. You can wear it on draft day 2011 or something.

Hey, you said you are a Bowling Green alum. What are your thoughts on Tyler Sheehan and Freddie Barnes? Would they fit with the Vikings? Thanks.

by medicineball on Mar 4, 2010 11:17 PM CST reply actions

BG thoughts

I think Freddie Barnes will make it in the NFL. The guy can catch anything thrown to him. I would love for the Vikes to swoop him up in the late rounds. If so, that would hafta be the jersey for me to get. As far as Sheehan, I would not want the Vikes to take him. Bowling Green QBs haven’t panned out in the NFL recently. If former Heisman hopefuls Josh Harris and Omar Jacobs couldn’t do it, then I doubt Sheehan will. This draft seems to be somewhat deep of back up worthy QBs. I’d rather see the Bears or Packers waste a pick on him. Personally, I wouldn’t be opposed to reuniting Percy Miracles with Timmy Tebow.

Thanks for your input.

I’ve been kind of excited about Sheehan. Is there anything specific in his style of play that drags him down in your mind, or is it just because he went to BG?

by medicineball on Mar 5, 2010 9:48 AM CST up reply actions

Nothing against him

Mostly cause he went to BG. I only saw a couple games this year, so I really can’t critique him. I’ll be rooting for him wherever he goes, if he goes anywhere. I just think that there are better options out there. I wouldn’t mind that LeFevour fellow.

Nice avatar….can I use her? :D She’d look good in a JA jersey, but probably better just how she is.

Thanks

Feel free! If you don’t know who that walking comic book character is, it is the infamous Coco. Check out a XXL or Smooth (ghetto magazines) for more. Ice-T is a very, very, very, lucky man.

Coco Chanel.

Didn’t know she looked that good…must be the air brushing. Either way I’m sure they can’t air brush the bumper on her….or can they?

Hold out for a #18

Bet on Rice, he’s the real deal! :)

Ah, ah,
We come from the land of the ice and snow,
From the midnight sun where the hot springs blow.
The hammer of the gods will drive our ships to new lands,
To fight the horde, singing and crying: Valhalla, I am coming!
