NFC North, aka the Front Seven Division
The NFC North should change it's name to the Front Seven Division. The division is home to the #1 (Packers) and #2 (Vikings) rush defenses from last season (making it four straight years that the #1 rush defense has resided in the North). The Vikings even took it one further, finishing #1 in the league in sacks.
The two teams that didn't have great defenses last year (the Lions and the Bears) have each made big splashes already in free agency; the Lions added tackle Corey Williams and Pro Bowl end Kyle Vanden Bosch, and the Bears added all world defensive end Julius Peppers. And that is after just one day.
Here is a breakdown of the current state of the front seven in the NFC North.

Good article.
Glad to see Greenway and Edwards getting some love.

Good post
I hope the NFC North becomes the powerhouse division of the NFL with the Vikings staying on top. That would benefit the Vikings because of the quality of competition.
birdseed
hawk like kampman absolutely do not and never will fit their system and if raji can’t man up and bulk up he’ll fit like dorsey in kc. like corey williams some sucker will have to give tt a #2 AND HE’LL HAVE TO CRAPSHOOT AGAIN.
Raji is 339 lbs…His only problem was he was a holdout in the offseason for a while, and then sprained his ankle pretty bad in our last preseason game. He played really well for us in the last half of the season when he was at 100%. I’d expect him to be much better after going through a full offseason with us.
Your totally righr about Hawk and I don’t know how the article basically praises him. He isn’t a 3-4 ILB, he is too slow. Kampman just signed with the Jaguars.

Welcome to our feeling of loss
Oh well at least you guys can sign FA’s.
It's a lot easier to love the Vikings when they win...
