FAVRE PLEASE!!!!

This was an ad placed in Favre's hometown newspaper by a MN Vikes fan...NICE! Although it remains to be seen, I believe the general consensus is that he will come back. Can we expect another year like this past one from him? This also remains to be seen, but I believe he can perform close to what he did. Essential will be plugging the holes we have now from losing Hicks and Taylor, plus adding to the Oline and secondary....We should be better than last year!  Let's see?  Is it Sunday yet?

I bet that smalltown newspaper owner is the biggest Favre fan in the world. How many of these full-page ads have their been? Four?

Favre is the Greatest QB in NFL History!

Soon, in less then 3 weeks it will be announced that the Vikings will play the Saints on Sept. 9th, 2010. That will get the blood in favre’s veins moving even faster. That date will insure Favre’s return 100 %.

Brett Favre will be back in 2010, 100% Guaranteed!

Did you post that ad?

by vikefansd on Mar 11, 2010 1:07 AM CST up reply actions

could have done without a lot of what this guy said in his ad...

You became a fan of the Vikings because you had a plastic, vending machine helmet and thought it looked cool? And you call Brett, “bro”?

Otherwise, kudos to this guy. I don’t like how desperate Vikings fans have looked so far this offseason with all of the “fan recruiting”, but at least it’s cool to see fans caring so much.

I guess that’s what you get with BF…

RETIRE

Favre should just say thanks for the memories and go back to Kiln and drive his tractor. We need a young QB that can take us to the SB and not an old INT machine that can’t get this team to the ultimate game.

multi- lakes u have no clue we need favre right now this team is built for now with him we can groom a young Q B behind him for the future with favre we r a top 2 team with out him i dont know

Um ok

So that up and coming QB will be TJ? Whom the coaching staff has such resounding apathy for that they’ve gone out and put two QB’s in front of him then tendered him third? Sorry guys I know there are a lot of TJ fans out there, but I don’t see him as the future. So if we’re not rolling with TJ who will be our young QB? Someone from the draft? A free agent? I hear Delhome is free, as is Alexander. You want either of them to start it up for us?

I’m not sure that starting from scratch is a great idea. Favre this year a QB behind him learning the system seems like a much better idea.

It's a lot easier to love the Vikings when they win...

Too bad we can't do a trade with the CFL

I know Edmonton expressed interest in him last year, and after seeing how Edmonton’s offense runs, honestly T-Jack would be a perfect fit there. But I don’t think trades are possible with the CFL. If they want him now, he’s just gone.

Well at least it gives him hope to still play football

Otherwise he’s going to have to rely on that college degree… HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!

Would you like fries with that?

Almost spit out my coke

If that’s where Warner ended up at one point, I wouldn’t expect a lot more for T-Jack. On the plus side, in 4 years, even at rook pay, he has enough to retire on if he spent wisely.

Wait a minute. Did I use the word, “T-Jack” and “wise” in the same sentence? Sorry ’bout that.
