vikings past drafts Qb's

Should we draft a QOTF in the first round?  I do not know I have been reviewing the Vike's draft through 1961 and we did get the face of the franchise a couple of times through the draft with our first pick.  Fran T 1961, Tommy K 1977, 1999 DAUNTE CULPEPPER (11).

I have to say I really enjoyed looking at the draft picks and seeing the so many names I remember and of course lots and lots that I do not.  All and all, we have not drafted many QB's. TYLER THIGPEN (217), QB 2007,TARVARIS JACKSON (64), QB 2006, 1985 Bono who became the lead singer of a band, Wade WIlson QB Punter in 1981, Steve Dills 1979, BILL SALMON (289), QB 1976, NEIL GRAFF (414), QB, 1972,BILL CAPPLEMAN (51) 1970. (I did not go past the first round past 1970)

All other starting QB's came from trades or were undrafted.  Of all the picks Fran was the best by far.  Wade W. may have been the steal.  We have had a whole bunch of real good QB's that we traded for or were free agents; Warren Moon, Randle Cunningham, Brad Johnson, Brett Farve.

I would like to say this gives me a real answer to "what to do at QB?" but it really does not.  Starting QB's for the Vikes have come from everywhere.  So I guess this lends to the BPA trend, regardless of position.

Note: please do not look at the HW trade 1990-1991, its almost painful.
