Jason Campbell - I would make this trade now!

My opinion (as a loyal, very long-time Vikings fan), after much consideration, is that the Vikings would be wise to see if they can acquire Jason Campbell for a reasonable (bargain) price. All signs point to the Skins wanting to let him move on, and with the way other veteran QBs have been moving for low draft picks, I am sure the Vikings could steal him away for a reasonable price. In watching his career unfold, I feel he has been unfairly doomed by terrible front-office mismanagement, weak coaching, and unrealistic expectations. Throughout his first years (after being thrown into the fray too early) he has been improving steadily, and has been a true warrior. He has not complained, as shown discipline and toughness, even in the worst of times. He has the physical tools and size, and is still young - with his best years ahead. If he had the right mentorship and felt he had a shot to resurrect his career, I think it has all the ear-marks of a great situation for whatever team gets him. The Vikings would possibly get their QB of the future for a low cost, and if they determine he is not the answer, he can be the backup or transition to whatever QB they draft next season. It is a perfect time to make this move, and not reach for a QB in this year's draft.

What do you all think?
