Everyone here at the DN has their own opinion on who to take with our first pick, and there are also those who would like to trade down into the 2nd round and get extra picks ( which I wouldn't mind us doing either ). So as we approach these next 8 plus hours to draft time give your opinion on who we should take with our first pick #30 and why. I'll make my choice after the jump.

To me the one player that makes the most sense is Kareem Jackson CB out of Alabama, the Lito Sheppard signing makes it even more inviting to me because Jackson is young ( came out after his junior year ) and can learn from two solid vets; Winfield and Shepperd. He can cover and he can tackle, he has size 5' 11",  191 lbs and he has something that has been lacking in our CB's: speed, he ran a 4.41 in his pro day. He was greatly coached by Nick Saban and comes from a winning program, where he performed great in the National Championship game . For all the talk and hype Javier Arenas gets, Jackson was the Tide's best CB. He will fit our system and in my opinion he has more upside than McCourty ( who I also like ) . So there is my pick and those are my reasons.
