Visanthe Shiancoe Takes Exception to His Quarterback Being Targeted
We've already talked ad nauseum about the New Orleans Saints' expressed desire to injure Vikings' quarterback Brett Favre. Well, now, somebody has actually decided to fire back, that person being tight end Visanthe Shiancoe. In an interview with 1500 ESPN in Minneapolis, Shiancoe said the following when told of Darren Sharper's "X marks the spot" comments about Brett Favre's ankle.
"That's all good, but Sharper had surgery, too. . .and it was the knee," Shiancoe said. "If 'X' makes the spot on Brett, I wonder what marks the spot on Sharper."
So, yeah. . .I'd like to thank Shank for making it clear that the Vikings won't be putting up with any more of the cheap shot garbage that has become the trademark of the New Orleans Saints' defense in this year's season opener.
But Sharper, obviously not knowing when he's beaten, has spoken up on his Twitter account again. . .
So visanthe stankoe X marks the spot on me, how bout X marks the spot for how many catches and TDs you'll have come Thursday night. X = zero
If you feeling yourself put your game check on it. No TDs and less than 3 catches you give me your game check. Now whose talking.
So. . .open talk about gambling in addition to open talk about taking cheap shots at opposing players?
Is anyone else sick to death over the fact that they actually used to respect this guy. Turns out that Packer fans were right about something. . .the guy really is a punk.
Man. . .if the people at the National Football League's offices had a set of stones between them, they'd say or do something about this. With that in mind, expect nothing to be said or done. The league office is too busy trying to hide banned substances from its players to deal with things that might actually merit some sort of discipline.
"Visanthe Stankoe?" Really? Is this guy 12?
And, for the record, in 18 games in 2009, Shiancoe had exactly two games that fit the criteria that Sharper would need to win his "wager". . .and neither of them came against New Orleans (Shiancoe had 4 catches for 83 yards in the NFC Championship Game).

Everyone realizes he’s not fast enough to do that…so why bother trying to learn.
I'm still a Minnesotan at heart...
I assume the loser's check would go to the winner's designated charity...
but at this point I believe there is reason to expect Sharper to be on the sideline for the opener.
that's the funny thing.
sharper is probably a scratch for the game anyway, so even if shank did have a shitty game, sharp wouldn’t have a damn thing to do with it, unless he tripped him from the sidelines every time he got the ball, which, given the saints propensity for doing such things, wouldn’t surprise me one bit. takes a big man to talk shit when you aren’t even gonna be playing. punk bitch.
I piss people off on a fairly regular basis. I cherish my right to speak my mind, whether I sound like an uneducated savage or not. I've never been accused of keeping what I think a secret, nor will I ever. Don't like it? I don't care.
I've gotta agree with you
Sharper better be playing in the game if he’s gonna talk this much shit. If not, he’s definitely a punk bitch. (not that you guys weren’t convinced already)

Hell man
He’s just talking smack. I’m pretty sure we all do it at one time or another. He’s just trying to add some more hype around Darren. Now I’m not real happy with his methods but it’s going to happen from time to time. Heck Ocho Cinco said he was going to blow the Horn if he scored a TD, until Rag told him that he would rip his arms off if he tried…
It's a lot easier to love the Vikings when they win...
NFL vs NBA
Good thing its not the NBA they fine people for saying the Lebron James is a good player. I can’t imagine the consequences if they talked like the above mentioned.
You only put up something if you think you have a chance of losing
which sharper obviously doesn’t. How bout that bum retires if Shank wins the bet? I wouldn’t mind that.
I'm still a Minnesotan at heart...
Sharper obviously isn't good at math
In his first sentence he says " X marks the spot on me, how bout X marks the spot for how many catches and TDs you’ll have come Thursday night. X = zero". Summation: X=0
In his second sentence he says “put your game check on it. No TDs and less than 3 catches you give me your game check” So now X no longer = Zero like this statement above, it now equals anything less than 3 (the total of catches and TD’s). Summation: x now equals anything less than 3!
Way to be a man of conviction Sharp! You’re are definitely an idiot!
an idoit that went to the probowl
9 ints, with3 returned for tds
sorry i got that wrong....
sharper was voted to the probowl ,but didn’t go, because his team beat the vikings in the nfc championship game,so he missed it because he had to play in the superbowl
Bryant McKinnie made the prowbowl
Lots of people make the pro-bowl that don’t deserve it. Sharper included.
RCA, GO AWAY!

C’mon now. He’s an idiot but he did have 9 INT’s this past season and a fantastic year. He deserved to be there.

He’s still an idiot! What conviction! X=0 or maybe not, maybe it’s x=3!….. Sour grapes??? I guess he even knows the Vikes outplayed them last year. Otherwise he would just walk and not say a word….
Idiots can make the pro bowl too.
Sharper had a great year. No argument from me on that. He’s always been a stat padder: picking off a late ball, even a hail mary or a desperation 4th down pass when the smarter play is to knock it down. But last year his return TDs came when it actually mattered.

our secondary was crap before he came in, got to give porter and greer their props to.
As for the championship game
There would have been a TD there except the NO guys was pulling his undershirt so hard everyone except the Ref saw it! It was a slant rout to the corner edge of the end zone, Shank caught the ball but know flag.

I do
But if I recall, there was a TD, just no flag.
Its one of those situations you would be screaming “Flag him!”, but he scored a TD anyways so no one cared. But the penalty should of been added to the kick-off.
sorry
Shank did not have a TD in the NO game.

Well than, I think that the person you are thinking of
May be someone else.
I recall a jersey yanking TD pass….
Maybe it was a different game. Maybe it was the Dallas game.
Maybe someone else can chime in here.
I remember it because I was like well who cares if he flags it, he got it anyways (The touchdown that is), however, when one thinks about it, the Vikings would of still considerably gotten screwed since they should have had the penalty on the kick-off.
it may not have been shank
but if he was waring a bright pink shirt underneath it was pulled down about 2 feet in the back and not flag an no td.

Ahh man..
This may end up bothering me..
Pretty sure the defender was beat, and pulling on the jersey as the player caught it and ran it into the endzone.
If it wasn’t in New Orleans, it must of been in the dome and likely versus the Cowboys.. If it was the Cowboys game, it had to of been Rice, considering I think he had 3 TD passes that game.
I know it was play-offs or late season.
I do not understand.
These guys are obviously just engaging in some mindless crap talk that friends do all of the time. You should see the things my buddies banter back and forth, it’d make a submarine crew sound like the Westminister Boys Choir. Where did everyone’s sense of humor and levity go?

I've been wondering the same thing.
Chris used to be a funny guy. Fiery, at times, I guess, but funny, and he kept things in perspective. Now it seems like every article he writes is some rage fueled rant, and every perceived slight against the Vikings is a prelude to war: the Saints are cheaters! see, Sharper’s admitting the Saints are cheaters! How dare Sharper respond to a Viking telling him to shut up! People who think Gerhart should be a fullback are racist! Goodell and the NFL are secretly hoping that some of the players die!
I honestly don’t know what happened. He went from funny, clever and insightful to a guy on the street corner shouting at cars as they go by.

as the first game gets closer, the hotter things are gonna get.
I doubt you'll get banned.
Most of the bannings happened when one Saints fan posted a bunch of comments at once that were angry in tone and essentially calling out for people to argue with. A couple other Saint’s fans joined in that weren’t that bad but kinda got caught up in the first guy’s wake. Basically one guy pushed some buttons and ruined things for others. You won’t have any problems here as long as the trash-talk isn’t over the top. That first game has got some huge hype already. Can’t wait.

It was a helluva game.
Not often is a rivalry born out of one game but it seems to be the case. Wouldn’t surprise me a bit if both teams make it back to the NFC title game again this year. My buddy’s a Saints fan so I was kinda happy they won the Superbowl even though I was still pissed the Vikings weren’t there. Hopefully this year the Vikings get it done and Favre can go out on top.

by CanadianViking on May 29, 2010 8:40 PM CDT up reply actions
Unless
We blow the Saints out of the water on opening night, it won’t do any justice for the NFC-CG. Any Saint fan should really think that we basically shot ourselves in the foot on that one. Even players were surprised on how we were even still in the game on the last offensive play by the Vikings with how many turnovers they had. It was described by players as each player trying too hard to make the big play. For some of the Saints fans saying that the Vikings should of tried harder is a load of crap, considering that if anything they tried so hard they made dumb mistakes.
A lot of the mistakes, in my opinion could of played out differently, but we can’t go back in time. An example would be the muffed hand-off from Favre to AP in the red-zone near the goal line at the end of the 2nd quarter. That would & should of been at least a 3 point field goal if we had not fumbled. There was no Saint player in the mix to cause that fumble. The 12-man huddle penalty is another penalty that could have been avoided, but, once again the Vikings basically shot themselves in the foot… This isn’t your false start or holding call, this is bad personnel calling that caused that issue. Another freebie to the Saints that made the Vikings miss out on a field goal. Even Longwell felt comfortable at hitting the field goal from where we were at after the penalty. Supposedly, he was putting them through the up-rights at an even farther distance before the game. I understand that in a real-game that things change.. Other issues were just bad ball control (A review of Favre’s first interception technically should have been called back after closer review). The last interception would of never happened had the 12-man penalty never happened. Vikings were trying to decide upon two running plays, which caused the confusion upon Tahi entering the huddle.
Would the results of been different if certain things had happened? Well if the Vikings had scored the touchdown prior to half-time, the whole second half could have played out differently. With that being the case, the whole game may have had a different feel to it.
But case in point, lets remove the most variables by looking at the 12-man penalty. If that had never happened, the Vikings would have ran a simple run play to try to maybe gain a few more yards to take the pressure off Longwell to kick the game winning field goal. Vikings use their last time-out at the right time to reduce any time for the Saints to make a play after the final kick-off and Longwell puts it through the uprights as hoped and the game is basically over. With that being said, the Vikings would have won the game that they basically in my opinion nearly wouldn’t have deserved for how they had bad ball control. The point spread should of been completely different.
But as a Vikings fan, and trying to not be biased with this comment, if the situation had been different and the Saints coughed up the ball as many times as they did and we were lucky to win in over-time. I would be calling ourselves very lucky & fortunate. That’s how I would of seen it. And I am very sure many other Vikings fans would agree with that.
Oh, I agree with your take on the game
and don’t think the opener will do much to erase last years loss no matter how it plays out. My point was just that I’d like to see the championship game talk die soon.
by CanadianViking on May 29, 2010 10:39 PM CDT up reply actions
Who cares about what the opener does
There are really only two out comes we win or we lose. If we win Yay, if we lose crap! I would prefer the winning experience personally.
New year new things happening new teams, blah blah blah.
It's a lot easier to love the Vikings when they win...
This is true
But, with the top-8 rule, this is about as close of a re-match as we’ll get. (Excluding the setting being a play-off game).
Each team should basically be the same team that played in the NFCCG with a few slight adjustments. Other teams we may see a whole new team. We were limited, but we were still able to draft just like every other team. It doens’t help that we’re the opener and everyone, once again, will be watching.
But like you said, we win sweet, we lose dang! Either outcome won’t make up for the NFCCG..
the saints front 7 on D......
may have 4 new starters, grant is gone, fujita is gone, shanle will have to fight to keep his spot, and the battle at DT next to ellis is wide open.
also gregg “cheap shot” williams, will open up his play book now that the players are more up to speed
well I hope all those new smiley faces come together quickly for you guys.
Many times adding a lot of people to a successful group isn’t the best answer. But then I forget that the Saints D was pretty bad on paper.
It’s sort of suprising when you think of it because I thought the Saints D was pretty good.
It's a lot easier to love the Vikings when they win...
they aren't the types to stand pat
payton is all ways trying to up grade.
alex brown ex-bear D end is fighting bobby “low hit” macray for grants spot. it’s an up grade in my opinion.
i also think shanle will hold on to his spot, but most saints fan don’t agree with me on that one
ill say it again deek ur the man well said +4
by cali viking on May 29, 2010 10:59 PM CDT up reply actions
Deek The one thing that kills me is.
Everyone was saying what a stupid interception Farve threw at the end of the game. The guy was just trying to make a play. He had gotten away with it a couple of times during the season. Yes throwing over the middle late is not the smartest thing you can do that’s for sure. Reggie Bush did the same thing right before halftime. The Vikes had kept him in check the whole 1st half. The guy was just trying to make a play maybe break free for a big return. He screwed up. The difference being Farve’s gaff ended up costing us the game. We turn around fumble a golden opportunity that Bush provided. In most cases it would have & should have cost them 7 points. Saints fans can cry sour grapes all they want. Just ask any casual observer outside of Minnesota or Louisiana and the overwhelming majority that watched the game will say that the Vikes blew it. It’s not a knock on the Saints they did enough to win. We have all seen it before, hey the best team doesn’t always win the game. So when Saints fans start talking trash they had better hope the Vikes shoot themselves in the foot again or that Saints step up their game or they could end up embarrassed at their home opener.
The pressure of being a QB
Most people will think the loss should be pinned on Favre for that late-game interception. And to even be more honest, if that had been a dropped ball, I am sure the media would of found a way to put the blame towards Favre for a near interception or a bad pass if the pass was thrown to a Viking player who had dropped it. The reason I would assume the media would still blame Favre is they would likely point to the muffed hand-off prior to 1/2 time that left the Vikings without scoring any points when they were basically right on the endzone.
These situation suck, and there is no doubt about that.
But one thing is for sure when you think about this game..
1) The O-line is well aware of the supposable “X-factor” on Favre
2) The receivers are well aware of the supposable “X-factor” on favre
3) The defense should be well-aware of the “X-factor” on Favre.
What does that mean? The O-line should be bringing their A+++ game.. Wasn’t it the Packers game that Favre never even took a hit? I bet the Vikings defense will be watching to make sure Favre goes un-touched. Otherwise a few remember shots may be in order…
if ya'll win ...
i’ll be here you can taunt me mercilessly, if i haven’t been banned by then.
What's this if shit.
We already beat you everywhere but the coin toss in overtime.
You can thank the Refs and their PI-present
for that :)
i do...
but most of all i thank AP for his generosity, and chilie for his 12 man gift.
i know the saints got some breaks, but if ya’ll just would have taken care of the football, ya’ll may be super bowl champs right now.
i respect the vikings with brett ya’ll have a great shot at doing it this year, but if the O-line doesn’t tighten up,keep brett healthy,or AP doesn’t learn to hold on to the football, than the refs will not matter.
Yep..
and even with all that… the silver-platter didn’t come out until that Pass-Interference. Bodes well for you guys come September 9th.
it was a bogus call
as a vikings fan you know “shit happens”.but i’ll take it, for all my life that call goes against the saints, for once it goes our way, i’m not gonna cry about it.
but for all the talk about the refs, i don’t see much about the miscues that really cost ya’ll the game, you can’t control the zebras.
No, that's the beauty of it
All the miscues DIDN’T cost us the game. It still came down to third-and-long, in OT, not even past half-field. And, you guys got lucky as shit that the referee thinks your TE can jump ten feet.
The miscues sucked, alot. And in the end they were a factor into causing us the lose the game, but they werent the deciding factor like the PI was. You take that away, and assuming Payton does the wise thing and punts, rather than go for it on 4th and 8… in sudden death OT.. and its a whole new game.
So, you can turn a blind eye to it if it helps you celebrate your victory, feel free. But don’t even try and tell me it wasn’t a big deal. I’d rather have fumbled than have the refs give you that horrible call. It was practically the infamous push-off all over again.
I believe they are refering to a Dallas game
Where we were within inches of winning when a pretty blatant push off cost us a winning TD to Dallas (sorry Dallas got the TD) a ref got hit by a bottle of scotch that day I believe. Honestly the bum deserved it.
It's a lot easier to love the Vikings when they win...
Yes
But I believe this was a NFC Championship game? Or the game to win that brings us to the Superbowl.
And if recall, it was the Chiefs who were in the Superbowl, and Dallas went on to win? Who can help with bring up history here.. I think I am right.
I agree with Ted Simmons completely...

Sharp and Shank actually had lockers by each other and presumably are still friends. I’m sure if Brett had broken a leg or something he wouldn’t be talking crap. This latest injury is about as mild as one can get. Remember, Sharp and Favre played together for a long time and one would think still maintain a good relationship. It's all fun and games until someone .... gets his ankle busted
That’s kinda where the final line is drawn. When people go out of their way to break other people’s bones, the perspective shifts. The good-natured banter tends to acquire a more serious undertone after that. Maybe it’s the pain talking, but it’s hard to have a great sense of humor when one party has to have surgery to have a chance at recovering from the deliberately inflicted damage.
Perhaps that’s not such a big deal to a some folks. If so, I applaud your Buddha-like equilibrium and ability to rise above this sort of thing. Me, I’m still caught up in the Karmic wheel of life, my soul derives tremendous satisfaction from the ‘eye for an eye, ankle for ankle’ outlook.

Chance to repeat what?
We didn’t win the title. Chance to repeat the success against the Saints? Depends on the refs we get. LOL JK… kinda.
Unless you mean repeat as Div Champs, at which point I will respond with a yes. The team won the NFC North the year before Brett’s arrival, and the roster has, by all accounts, vastly improved. We have actual recievers now.
but the nfc north is a different place now.
with the pack coming on, and mike martz now calling the shots in bear country,it’s probably the toughest division in the nfl.
Heh
Mike Martz is going to get Cutler killed. I can just see that offense going the same route as his did in Detroit. Granted Kitna isn’t Cutler, but the recievers are worse, and the O-Line is about the same quality, I’d say. As for the Pack, yeah they should be a tough opponent.
I wouldn’t say NFC North is gonna be the toughest division. It’ll probably be about the same as last year, where we send 2 teams to the playoffs. I’d say the toughest division would have to be the AFC North or East.
da bears
peppers is a load, if urlacker is really healthy again they are gonna be tough on D.
with cutler, martz is gonna open it up. it could be the “greatest show on tundra” next nov, and dec.
their on my most improved team list
Yeah..
That’s what everyone was saying last year too. Really, their defense isn’t very scary either. They have big-names, yes. Briggs is still an impact linebacker. But we play them twice a year, so I think I can speak with a little more authority when I say that Urlacher is, at this point in his career, living off his past reputation. He just isn’t that impact player anymore. Solid, yes. Freak-on-the-field, no. Their D will be average, especially since their corners are still pretty bad. Basically, the defense is just big-names.
And sure, of course Martz will open it up. Cutler’s probably going to have some gaudy stats this season, not gonna deny that… but the man is careless with the football, and their offensive line still isn’t set to be able to handle all the pass-plays that Martz will call. Cutler will get sacked a ton and get pretty close to last year’s int-total again. Their run-game isn’t very intimidating either, so it’s going to be a pretty one-dimensional offense, and they just don’t have the recievers to make up for it, despite all the smoke Martz is trying to blow up everyone’s ass.
peppers will make those corners better,
i don’t think they are gonna be a great team, their O line is the biggest question mark, but they will get more pressure on opposing qbs,and score more points,
No, he really won’t. Just like Jared Allen hasn’t made our corners better. I haven’t seen any difference between the corners when Allen has been here and when he hasn’t. Yeah, it gives the QB less time, but the Corner’s play is still on the corner’s, not the DE’s.
They’ll probably score more points, yeah, and put pressure on the QB, but I don’t see it making enough of a difference for them. It certainly won’t be the ‘greatest show on the tundra’ though.
I hear you there.
However, if we have Brett I don’t think they’ll beat us, I also don’t see them out performing the Pack. I see them sitting in third place with a record over .500. Now my reasoning behind this (I know I get chills too) Martz has a good offensive idea however it completely revolves around a QB’s accuracy and his receivers ability to run spot on routes. (It’s a timing offense) Cutler isn’t that accurate, his receivers are all young and his line, well while I do expect miracles out of Tice, I don’t see them happening fast enough. I do see them stepping up in the next few years though as long as Lovie doesn’t get the boot and they have to start all over from scratch AGAIN.
It's a lot easier to love the Vikings when they win...
Yes
I believe the Bears will once be good, but not this year.
Adjusting to new coaches, and new schemes, makes it interesting on how this will all work out.
Its like a new car design that could be “Great”, but you just gotta get the kinks worked out before it’ll be great.
what about martz taking lovie's spot
if the d struggles, and the o shows up,who knows?
I don't know about that, problem is thta the last team Martz took didn't do so well...
I think this is a situation where he’s going to have to see if Cutler is the type of qb he can work with or not. Cutler doesn’t seem all that coachable to me, but I’ve been wrong before (once)…
It's a lot easier to love the Vikings when they win...
Matt Millen
Made the Lions worse. How the hell do you do that? Be the worst GM in the history of the NFL! He basically turned a house fir into a forrest fire.
Favre's ankle, Starcaps BS and hopefully a busy Piston offseason, oh my. Go Netherlands/Holland/Dutch Soccer(no its not Football)! Also, Lesnar, Lesnar, Lesnar!!!!!!!

I’m a sarcastic prick, but admitedly can’t always pick it up in text. Living 5 minutes outside Detroit I can’t help but bash Millen every chance I get.

Heh
Thanks, even though I consider it more of a light burn.
No reason to really burn any fellow Vikings fan.. But only having fun.
Sarcasm is hard to pick up in text. To the younger generations of today, people tend to use a different style of typing to show their emotions.
Things for ex:
/end rant
/end sarcasm
etc. etc.

Seriously, please refrain from commenting until you do your research. Jackson is a very servicable back-up. Some are saying he’s an ideal-backup QB, same with Sage. So if Favre does go down after Sharper intenitonally hits the X, we will be in good hands. Not as good as if it were Brett, but the team can still win games with Jackson under center.
i think sage is better than jackson,
if (GOD FORBID) brett goes down,i would be more comfortable with sage going in.
I dunno about that
I think Sage was third on the depth chart for a reason. From what I remember of pre-season, it was sort of a wash between the two.
sometimes coaches see what they wanna see.
the last few years the texans and the saints, during preseason, hold joint practices. i go to most of the ones open to the fans. sage was very impressive.
He must need to get comfortable then
because like I said, it seemed like a wash to me last year. Could he step it up this season? Possibly. Based on last year though, which is really all I can base this on, I’d rather have us throw in Jackson.
I kind of agree with you
I think we need more of a pocket passer with better awareness than what TJ gives us. When we started with TJ we had poor receivers so we needed someone who could run around the back field and make plays with his feet. After last year I don’t think anyone can say we have poor receivers anymore. This I hope will lead us away from quick QB’s to QB’s that can actually pass the ball acurately at peoples hands instead of their feet.
It's a lot easier to love the Vikings when they win...
it's a passing league
with the new rules, why have a throwback QB? you need a guy who can drop back read and throw.
the saints had poor receivers till brees got here, now good receivers are falling from the sky. what a coincidence!
Sage couldn't beat out TJ for the #2 spot last year.
That comes from the Viking staffs professional evaluation.
It speaks volumes about how TJ is the better QB. Sage has been a career back-up now third stringer for a reason.
Favre's ankle, Starcaps BS and hopefully a busy Piston offseason, oh my. Go Netherlands/Holland/Dutch Soccer(no its not Football)! Also, Lesnar, Lesnar, Lesnar!!!!!!!
who was he backing up? schaub
a lot of starting qbs would be backing up schaub. he’s in the top 5 qbs in the nfl
A debatable top 5 QB last year
Not in 07 or 08 when Sage was there.
Favre's ankle, Starcaps BS and hopefully a busy Piston offseason, oh my. Go Netherlands/Holland/Dutch Soccer(no its not Football)! Also, Lesnar, Lesnar, Lesnar!!!!!!!
Nope, they'd be starting
because prior to last year, he was always getting hurt.
Anal street chronic?
I know they come up with some wierd names for the stuff, but never heard one quite that wierd.
We could thank cheap shot william
Saint fan would call it just friends having fun. I hope all the team in the NFL would mark an X on all saints.
You do realize..
That these guys are friends, right? They’re just kidding with each other…

From the NFC North Blog
“I know Sharp,” Shiancoe said. “That’s my boy. We hang out. It’s like he said before the NFC Championship Game. He told me their whole goal was to aim for my knees. And they didn’t do it. I know he talks trash.”

Didn't you know...
it is the “in” thing to be a Favre/Viking hater. I find it funny that everyone is such a hater considering that these same individuals don’t believe that our team…or Favre, is much of a threat.
Simple reason for that..
The public gets sick of hearing about the same media crap over and over. If Favre wasn’t so heavily covered…. People would maybe find interest in this story. But, since he makes the news everyday… People decide to come out as haters as being sick of hearing about it.
I noticed the same thing about the elections… At first people seemed interested.. over time people seemed to have their own opinion & showed more hatred.
you know its bad.....
when sharpers even pissing off Saints fans. heres for hoping Jenkins can snatch this jackass’s job before season opener.
It is better to fail historical, than the live in mediocrity- Unknown
On a positive note...
This sure shows that the team is behind Favre and I am sure Favre is A-okay with that.
Knowing that the team not only wants him back but will give their most to try to protect him..
In Favre’s mind, he is probably thinking, “Thanks for letting me know that my job should & could be easier…. Running for my life is never any fun…”

All the media just turns people off.
They get sick of hearing about it. It does amaze me that most people believe the Vikes will be good but they don’t think they will win the SB.
Brett and Jared should offer
to take Sharp hunting.
Woh
A jab at Cheney…
Make sure Brett or Jared are wearing the mask though…
Must suck for Cheney to be the butt of jokes, but if you suck at hunting like he does, you deserve it.
okay, sports joke time...
bobby knight and dick cheney go on a hunting trip together…..which one comes back?

I should've
been more specific and said bird hunting. :D
Why not bring Brees too?
Than they can b.s. and shoot the breeze, or however that saying goes.
break a leg
i thought y’all would’ve had enough after the last spankin’
Yeeeaaaahh...
considering we almost had twice as many yards as you did, I don’t think we’re the ones who got spanked…
