Around SBN: Despite Relocation Drama, Coyotes Overcome Adversity

Damn

I can recall watching Joe Kapp play, then Fran and then way too many players to name. Some years good some years bad,no matter the out come I couldnt wait till next year cause that was our year.

Find myself once again thinking this year is ours, and wondering have I wasted so many years waiting for that 1 moment. Was a kid when I got hooked on the Purple, got married  still hooked, watched 4 kids 3 went College 1 Air Force, still hooked, had 2 more kids 12 and 13 now still hooked.

Wasted years no,all older kids called home when Vikes was playing the Saints,2 youngest ones held my hand and said next year when they lost.

No the Vikes havent won a Super Bowl, yea been 4 times and lost 4 times and have been this close > I dont know how many times. But I am ok with that,I think I can truly say the Vikes have given me more then I have ever given them.

Same with this blog,Gonzo has always ran an at ease blog, reminds me of " The last White Castle!

Thanks for the advice, speed.

I changed my name a little while after I became a contributor at WCG. I do sort of miss my old handle though.

And honestly, I don’t want to change anything about the Norseman. I said my peace and moved on. As I’m doing now and would like to encourage everyone else to do.

wasted years???

Naw.. Just feels that way when we lose a championship game we had no business losing… No matter what our heads say… Our Hearts bleed PURPLE… When we finally lift that Trophy, will be worth it!!! (be nice if its this year tho)….

Reminds me of..

A guy somewhere not to far from where I live in a town in N.D. who is a big Vikings fan. He is probably in his 70s/80s and hasn’t shaved his bears for many years. And from what I recall, I don’t believe he was intending to shave it until the Vikings made it to the Superbowl, or won it, one of the two. Well since they didn’t make it, I know that the wife was hoping they’d win just for the pure simple fact he would shave it. I wonder how she felt when the Vikings lost.

Its probably good they didn't win it then

because it’d be cruel to shave a bear. However, it would be fitting to do if you beat the Bears in the NFC Championship game.

I can see it now.

"What is best in life?"
"To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women."

How fitting

Yet still pretty funny all at the same time.

Both sides made mistakes .Both sides made valid points .One sides view was allowed to be heard .

This site is what it is . Young . Impetuous . Growing . With one united goal . The ring at any cost !!!
