This may be far to much to consider, but wouldnt this be the icing on the cake ......
I have been a Die Hard Viking Fan for 30 years. I am 36 yrs old, so I was about 6 when I started putting purple dye in my cereal. Through all the disappointments, and highlights too. I have never been as excited & nervous for a season to start as last year! The arrival of Sir Brett was bad ass, and I have supported him through every hating headline, and Diva comment out there. He may be indecisive but he as always been worth the wait. Hear brings my thought. As all the big monsters make way down to Mankato for their 2 week stay, wouldnt it be the best surprise for everyone involved if Brett showed up in mankato to support his team?? I mean, all the die hard fans that travel down there, really want a glimpse of him. Every player(at least publicly) has defended his style, and backed up his play. Wouldnt the arrival of Brett to training camp, if only to spectate and support the team(due to ankle) be the Ultimate show of team & let every guy on our squad know that this is it! This is the year. No matter what, we are bringing the Trophy to Minnesota. I could not think of a better statement than a surprise arrival from Brett Favre to Training Camp. It would absolutely squash all nay-sayers, and show every member of the Vikings, and the Fanbase, that he truly lives for football and he wants to end his career with the best taste!
I apologize if i am way off. But I could not for the life of me think of a better way to tell each team in the league, that Minnesota Vikings are a TRUE TEAM, led by one of the if not the greatest QB(heart for sure) to play the game. There is nothing going to stop their quest for a Title this year, and it all started this summer in Mankato. If i were writing the script for an HBO movie, this is how I would write the beginning of the last chapter.
