Well finally some Football

I know it aint our beloved Purple thats playing tomorrow nite but its football and that has got to beat searching the Web looking for any real news. Are we going to have an open blog for the first game, get our football groove on in prep for Sat 14 when our Vikes take the field.Dont know about you guys but I just cant wait till the season starts, get me my fix on.

Has anybody been to any of the practices this week read there was a little blow up and a few reporters saying schism with the star players. If last year was a result of a schism between our players I want me a whole lot of it.

We got some tough games ahead of us this year, sounds as if a few peeps we wasnt expecting to get cut is going to.Anybody know the cut down dates for Teams.

I've been looking deeper into our schedule .

TEN plays a part in motivating AP by playing DAL and WAS the week before us . Great motivation to out perform C. Johnson .
Once again the NFL found ways to help GreenBay in the two Vike games . First with a bye week before our matchup . Next with back-to-back home games during the second matchup .
Monday nighters give us two short weeks . DAL and PHIL get a slight advantage . WHere The Thru nighter and bye week give us 10 and 15 days for MIA and NYJ .
Only GreenBay has a bye before playing us . Unlike three or so teams last year .
Over all our opponents face tough matchups the week prior to playing us . PHI , MIA before the DET games . MIA , bye for GB . At Buf , NE for CHI .
Only One FOX noon game in the first eight weeks of the year is weird . But eight of nine NOON games at the end of the season week#9 to #17 will please Brad .
MIN at DET and GB at CHI at noon on FOX will be a tough choice for them to play . Might 85% of America miss GB and CHI’s chance to get to the playoffs just to play the will he be back game . It would be Poetic for Brett to announce a contract extension after the game …..
As tough as it looks . This schedule is laid out for a Cinderella fairetale to begin !

You are "fixing" for Viking football

yet your 5 days off of when they start the season…..

What you just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your entire rambling incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Palmer stays in to justify the T.O. deal .

Not needed . TO will fit in SinSinati . Grass . A running game . A pay check .

So much for Dallas being the deepest team in the NFL .

A football clinic seems to be what pre-season has become ?? A lot of QB hits in this game by Cinn. . Not the Great Dallas Defense . Half time went fast .

Both teams second teams defenses show some growth on their D-lines . That's about it .

Penalties on one side . Poor protection on the other . Ouch again as Dallas may have to start the bidding on Sage during the half-time show !

9:59 in the third and Dallas loses the perfect game .

The Bengals have some up and comers on that young defensive depth chart .

NBC tries to take the high road ? Until they claimed he retired from GreenBay in the end . Sorry boys he was traded .

These guys must spend too much time going over ESPN garbage before they limp into a Brett story .

Well , 7 to 8 injuries later . What have we learned ? Not much .

Shipley has the speed of a veteran kicker . These two teams front seven stood up in the last three quarters . Other than that . Boring ! Off to cruise the web . Later .

Football, at long last, football!

Last night I was so excited for the start of football I watched the entire crappy game. Considering that it was apparent pretty early on that the Bengals would not win, that took a little discipline on my part. I really don’t like the Cowboys and it makes me cranky every time I hear them called “America’s tem”. However, it was worth it to see them show John Randle’s bust in the Hall of Fame with warpaint photo-shopped onto it. I wore my Randle jersey in solidarity.

I like pre-season . I was there when Randy wore his #18 . Special . Last year I went to Canton for the first time . If you haven’t made the trip . You wouldn’t know that John Randle . Just the same as Brett are already well established there . I took a photo beside the trophy that now belongs to the Saints . I won’t develope the pictures . I found the roll in my three year olds toy . Here in my Library . The Cowboys fell short in the Red Zone . That was great . SKOL .
