I never thought a pre-season game four would be such a welcome change of topic but real football talk of any sort is needed around here.

or will chilly not even start him because he is going to start. Unless he plans on making the last game the deciding factor in who will start, but because of Lito’s veteran status i cant see him not starting.

I also want to see more of Walker. I think that he can be a starter and after a few practices with brett i think he be playing at a high level again.

And the last thing i want to see is who will win the 3rd down back spot, i speculated earlier in the week that Percy might be a good fit. But it doesn’t look that will be happening. So it is up to toby and Bert.

I am not concerned about our line, mainly because i think that if nececery cooper can be the guy at center if sully is still out. This means no degeare and no cook, and we can keep Anthony at RG. Also the same with safety, i think that tyrell and jamarca are both to the same level of play so either one should be good. I’ll leave that decision up to chilly and the gang.

I have been an avid follower of the Vikings and long time member of DN since a friend hooked me up here after a serious accident. It was off season and the guys rallied around my recovery. It was not always football related but after coming out of a 5 month hospital stay cathching up on the last part of the season I missed and all the of season dealings was as much a part of my reovery as the mediacal part.
I did a volunteer trip to Minn with the support of many friends here and came home to find my puter blew.
So I have not been on much the last 3 months and stuff like this makes me wonder? What is going on?
We have always been a freindly site. I don’t care if a guy shares a spurt about what is going on in his life and most who do don’t seem to neglect their interest in the Vikings.
We never crap on anothers opinion as if they were idiots. I have opinions, some are wrong, some I think are right. Like when I bashed on T-jax. But it seem to hit a bad nerve with a couple guys. Those who have known me know I don’t hate the kid but my retractors acted as if I were anti-Odin.
We are all arm chair QB’s. None of us is the end all about everything Vikings or football.
I can honestly say I have learned more from patrons here than I have shared.
I would rather here a friendly blurb about someones day in a post than a bunch of pin-heads who want to tear down every person they disagree with. That rarely happens here because we all know the “code”. Not anything taught to us but one we all seem to come here for. We can bee-och avout a game, player or play or a coach. But, we all love the Vikings.
So with that Let’s keep this a place where we are friends and Vikings fans most of all. Keep our comments cival toward each other and agree to disagree.

I appreciate your sentiments, completely. But the problem is, others are working cross purposes to your message.

We are (we should be) above that.

I ignore what I don’t like and visit and comment with those (which is most of you) who are just plain ol Minn friendly. If it is something weird, I ignore it, if was meant to be funny and Ididn’t think it was, I don’t say anything. I will jump on someone only if they become rude or so brash that they think their opinion is it and have to bash anothers to “enforce” their view.
That being said. I hope we all enjoy a happy and successful Vikings season.
