BSPN "Expert" Picks

http://espn.go.com/nfl/picks

What a surprise!!! The ESPN experts have all picked the Saints to win.

Let's hope the Vikings win, not for revenge against the Saints, but so ESPN will shut the hell up for at least an hour after the game.  I can not think of a media outlet with more disgust for the Vikings and lust for the Packers than BSPN.  They won't change, but they will shut up for a short time if the Vikings can pull out a victory.  Let us all wait and hope!

Ignore all the hate from the media...

all i have been hearing is how the saints are gonnna do this win by this blah blah blah…being in situations like this before playing in high school this only fires the team up even more. All this is just another thing for the vikes to use as fuel to ignite this team. While in the grand scheme of things this game in all retrospect doesnt matter all that much, but the vikes are gonna come out with a chip on their shoulder this year to prove that they can and should have made it to the super bowl last year and won it. I feel very sorry for any team playing them this year.

Whats Trent Dilfer have to say?

Remember that bag of hot air before the Dallas playoff game. How Dallas had the Vikes at every position on the field. How they would shut down Favre. I just really hate Dilfer now and I like reminding everybody how much of a dip stick he is.

These are not predictions.....

it is just wishful thinking, no more, no less. I have more faith in weather reports and horoscope.

3-3 split

and all close games….

Interesting to see how it all plays out…

Seems most predictions are never right..

I would vote that Mark Craig will likely be the closest.
Yes, both offenses are explosive, but, we’re talking about the first game of the year with two very good teams…. I don’t think it’ll be as much of a shoot-out as some of us think…

It depends on our running game

I either see it as going just splendid for the Saints as they take advantage of our defense, or as a shoot-out if we can get the running game going. I’m not expecting alot from the passing attack this week.

from the ESPN splashpage

Could tonight’s NFC title game rematch with the Vikings be the start of a dynasty for the Saints?

I BELIEVE...

Wow, seriously?

First SB win ever and they’re already talking dynasty? Good grief.

Time for a change....

On a side note, how many of those games were re-matches of the given NFC or AFC championship?

by Deek on Sep 9, 2010 4:05 PM CDT up reply actions

How many of them played the Vikings?

"Humps"

Teams can get over them…. Saints did it….
Vikings can do it this year, by starting off w/ breaking that 10-0 record…

Than follow it up w/ a Superbowl appearance and a WIN!

And of those 10-0’s, how many of them were against credible teams? Or even a NFC or AFC rematch for that matter?

The odds are in the Favor for any superbowl defending champ mostly due to the idea that it is a HOME GAME!!!

by Deek on Sep 9, 2010 4:36 PM CDT up reply actions

Sure....

just the kind of statistic that sways the dolts at ESPN.
