If we have to pass on the big 3 QB's to get our O-line secure I just saw and amazing performance by a kid who is a proven winner. he has beaten enough BCS schools and now Dalton rips Co-Big 10 champs in the Rose Bowl.
I don't think the top flight QB's are as "sure of things" as QB's the last few years. Dalton could very well be that guy. who falls off the radar and shows some NFL ability.
Aside from playing at TCU (who got no respect anyway) why he is ranked as low as he is is a mystery to me. The kid has all the tools to be a NFL QB. I didn't see many flaws that needed work. What there was is very correctable. So don't fret if we don't get a Luck, Mallet, or Newton
There is a good chance and good gamble in taking Dalton.
MVP of the Rose Bowl and an out of site winning percentage to go with a rating that is pheonominal! Worth a shot and no less a long shot than people think.
