Football HOF: What A Class!

Man, if I were voting for the NFL HOF class of 2011, I would be checking a lot of boxes...

-Marshall Faulk: The greatest all-purpose running back in the history of the game. The "Greatest Show On Turf" had him in the center ring.

-Jerome Bettis: Yes, a big fat dude CAN dominate at the RB position.

-Curtis Martin: The guy is never mentioned as one of the greats, but his overall yardage totals and durability speak for themselves.

-Cris Carter: Why this guy isn't in already is beyond me. I guess when ALL you do is catch touchdowns...

-Andre Reed: Never really got to see this guy play much, but sometimes you just know when a guy is HOF material.

-Willie Roaf: You try getting by that.

-Chris Doleman: As good as pash-rushers came in his day.

-Deion Sanders: The original shutdown corner.

Other HOF finalist candidates with strong tenures include Tim Brown and Shannon Sharpe. They'll get their turn in the coming years when the stars aren't so spangled, so to speak.
