Hit The Red Zone Channel To Watch The Post-Season Solidify
The Vikings' season is, officially, over with, and the playoff picture is still a little bit fuzzy, but the late games today will put almost all of it into focus for us. Another great opportunity. . .actually, your last opportunity of the year. . .to check out the Comcast Red Zone to keep up with all of the action that will tell us who is playing where this post-season.
The late slate of games looks like this:
San Diego Chargers at Denver Broncos
Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers
Jacksonville Jaguars at Houston Texans
Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis Colts
Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles
Arizona Cardinals at San Francisco 49ers
New York Giants at Washington Redskins
The last playoff spot, regardless of what happens in any of the above games, will be decided by the Sunday Night Football clash between the St. Louis Rams and the Seattle Seahawks at Qwest Field.
For all of the scenarios, check out our post from earlier in the day.
Sit back, relax, and enjoy the last weekend of regular season football for this season, ladies and gentlemen.

Webb's upside: Jason Campbell
Finally figured out who Webb looks like…a raw version of the Oakland Raiders QB, Jason Campbell.
This is actually pretty good news for Vikings fans. With enough reps, Joe Webb could develop into a very good starting quarterback, good enough to win games, but probably not a pro bowler. When I first saw him, I thought maybe he could be more like Randall Cunningham, but he’s not quite that amazing.
For me, this means the Vikings absolutely should draft a QB in the first round. They will have a good draft position, so they should be able to get one of the three really fine looking college prospects after Luck: Mallet, Locker, or Newton. They might even be able to draft some other guys later, like Dalton.
2011 Viking Season a BIG ?
The 2011 season does not look promising for the Vikings despite the talent on the team. The offensive line needs some huge upgrades, there is no proven QB and the defense has been vulnerable this year. Pat Williams may want to go another year but at 38 years old playing in the middle, does he have anything left?
I am afraid the Vikings will start the 2011 season ranking at the bottom of the NFC North. We can only hope for some surprizes.
I am hoping for a Bears win today; don’t pull your starters too soon Lovie.
if yu ask me..
The kid is 2-3 years down the road…his reads need to improve alot…locks onto primary and stays there..lions saw that on tape..

Current Vikes draft spot percentages...
10th – 6%
11th – 31%
12th – 45%
13th – 18%
also, minuscule chances for 6th-9th and 14th depending on how late afternoon games finish.
Chilly blew it!
Too bad Childress threw away the third round pick.
Leslie got the job....
pretty excited about next year…

Pack win and are in
Since we can’t go I hope either pack or bears represent NFC in the SB.

What the hell kind of thinking is that? What has division got to do with anything?
If someone from our division wins SB, how is that good for us?
F That
Hope they both get their asses handed to them.

Agreed
I hope the Packers and Bears both lose their first playoff game by 50
The Colorado Rockies aren't a team, they're an armada.
That's pretty much the way I felt about the Vikings last year, so cheers.
I wouldn’t expect anything less.
In the NCAA Bowls, I generally root for all the other teams from my school’s conference, but not in the NFL. As an aside, my pulling for Big 10 teams in the bowls didn’t work out so well yesterday.

At least this year we can be aggressive in free agency unless the cba changes things.
