Pipe Dream Poll: Pats Trading Up...??

please note this is just for fun.  there are obviously still too many unknown factors, how the combine plays out, etc...just play along, it's a creative scenario to pass the time.

i've read some speculation that the Patriots may actually do the unlikely and trade up this year, considering they have a boatload of picks in the first few rounds and would have a difficult time signing all the talent they draft.  i've read speculation from trading up to nab Ingram before Miami has the chance, Von Miller if he falls out of the top 10, even Julio Jones.

it got me thinking, would it be worth trying to strike a deal with NE on day 1 of the draft?? one scenario i've seen thrown out there is sending our #12 to NE in exchange for their #17 and #74, essentially erasing the Moss trade. another possibility could be our #12 and #105 for NE's #28, #33 and #124.

if it came to fruition, that second option isn't so bad...28, 33 and 43, that could be a nice little run of picks and would certainly make up for not having a 3rd rd pick.  not to mention we could trade down again from one of those for even more picks should we feel the need.

any thoughts??  vote away!!
