This is how I feel right now. Discontented. This 2010 football season is over. Over for the Vikings anyway. We won back to back games only once - against Washington and Buffalo. BIG Achievement. There's been talk of Leslie Frazier being hired on as coach (removing the interim tag) possibly Monday or Tuesday. Hard to find actual facts surrounding this decision but this crap showing against Detroit might cause a few eyebrows to be raised. At any rate this team played with no intensity, no desire, and aside from the Allen pick, it's hard to find anything positive out of the results (other than Kluwe is a pretty darn good punter). One ill timed play away from the Super Bowl last year, tied with Detroit for the basement this year.
We need help in almost every area. I like Joe Webb, but I also think that he might make an excellent wide receiver. I guess my question is do we blow up the team, trade for instance Allen and some of our "star" players, or do we remain calm and rebuild slowly through the draft and free agency. And do we keep Frazier? I like the man, but am not sold on that one yet. And so long Favre. You have plenty of money, you will be elected into the the HOF, so go back to Mississippi and relax already.
Any lastly, If any team can figure out how to beat the Patriots right now, well good luck.
