Adrian Peterson Sets Record For Career Pro Bowl Rushing Touchdowns

Stay connected for news and updates

As I mentioned in the introduction to the open thread, Adrian Peterson entered tonight's Pro Bowl in a four-way tie for the most rushing touchdowns scored in Pro Bowl play with three. Well, Peterson now holds the record all by himself, as he got his fourth touchdown on a 14-yard run in tonight's 55-41 shootout victory by the NFC.

The 14-yard run followed up a 17-yard carry for Peterson, who finished the night with 14 carries for 80 yards and a touchdown.

Peterson wasn't the only Viking to show up on the stat sheet this evening, as cornerback Antoine Winfield collected one of the NFC's five interceptions of AFC quarterbacks on the evening. I don't see E.J. Henderson's name on the stat sheet anywhere, but as a late addition to the team, I'm not sure how much he played.

Congratulations to Adrian Peterson and Antoine Winfield on their performances this evening.
