My 2011 Mock NFL Draft

Hey there, DN folks. I'm a sucker for a good mock draft, any sport really. Usually this time of year, as student athletes (political correctness FTW!) begin declaring for the NFL draft or deciding to stay in school, I like to come out with my own first edition. Inevitably my final mock in a few months will most likely look nothing like what you're about to read here, but nevertheless I've invested the time and exhausted some of my favorite resources--none of them named McShay or Kiper, for the record--to come up with just a simple one-round mock for 2011.

I highly encourage conversation--praise, scrutinty, picks of your own, whatever it may be--so please feel free to let 'er fly as you're commenting (or recommending, eh?). There's really no rhyme or reason to the inclusion or lack of underclass prospects in this mock draft. If they've declared already, great. If not, just keep reading on the assumption that I think they will declare in the coming weeks. Also, the final 12 picks--obviously this year's playoff teams--are ordered based on their current seeding/record/etc. You get the idea. They are not ordered based on any playoff prediction of mine. An asterisk will denote those picks, for your reference.

Thanks for your guys' time once again, and please enjoy!
