Week 6 injury update

According to the Associated Press, both Percy Harvin and Antione Winfield were held out of Thursday's practice due to injury.

Apparently Percy Harvin is still nursing a rib injury that he's been dealing with since Training Camp.  He reinjured the ribs in Sunday's win over Arizona.

Winfield is still suffering from stiffness in his neck.  The injury was sustained during the Kansas City game.  He did not play against Arizona and his status for Sunday night's game against Chicago is in doubt.

If Antione can't go, that likely means Chris Cook gets the start and we'll be seeing more of Asher Allen in the nickle role.  I know that doesn't excite many fans, but on the bright side Cook has shown signs of improvement each week.  I actually wouldn't mind seeing Brandon Burton in the nickle spot myself.

Coach Frazier expects Percy to be in uniform on Sunday, but if he can't go we might see more of Camarillo on Sunday night.

Hopefully both guys start feeling better soon!
