While perusing around on the usual football news websites, I found this article on profootballtalk.com stating that Brandon Lloyd has been officially placed onto the trading block. Personally, I don't know that Brandon Lloyd would be the best addition given his age, but he is a fantastic deep threat and if we could get him for the right price, I would say that Brandon Lloyd might be a solid addition. Even if it doesn't turn out, he's in the last year of his contract, is only making 1.3 million this year in base salary, and we wouldn't have anything holding us back from letting him go if he didn't perform up to par! And if it does go well, then we can just keep him around. Wait...this sounds familiar... but we don't have Brad Childress anymore, so I can hope, can't I?
What do you all think? Yay or nay?
