Minnesota Vikings at Kansas City Chiefs, Oct 2, 2011 12:00 PM CDT

MINNESOTA VIKINGS (0-3)
GAME 4
KANSAS CITY CHIEFS (0-3)

@

Date: 2 Oct 2011
Location: Kansas City, MO
Time: 12:00 PM Central
Stadium: Arrowhead Stadium
TV: FOX
DirecTV Ch. 712
Know Thy Enemy: Arrowhead Pride
Gonzo's Prediction: Vikings 20, Chiefs 17
Final Score: Chiefs 22, Vikings 17

No, no, not like that. . .get your minds out of the gutter.

No, what I mean is that yours truly got yet another last-minute notice to go and do some training for the day job, so this post is coming to you from the lovely Los Angeles International Airport. So, I might not be around the Game Thread as much as normal. . .the longest flight I have today DOES have in-flight Wi-Fi, so I'll be able to follow the game as long as a) the connection stays reliable, and b) my laptop battery holds out. Eric will be around these parts for most of the game, as he will be remaining on tierra firma (to the best of my knowledge), so everyone will still have to behave themselves.

No time to do the usual "three keys." I think that we've seen over the past few weeks that if the Vikings can put together two decent halves of football in a row, they should be able to come out with a victory in this one. Here's hoping that that can happen this afternoon at one of the NFL's tougher venues.

Today's game between the Minnesota Vikings and Kansas City Chiefs is the only match-up this week featuring two winless teams. Hopefully, when it's all said and done, Minnesota will no longer be in that category.

SKOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL VIKINGS!!!!

My local cable company does not see Vikings-Chiefa as fit to show.

Unfortunately, they did broadcast the Gopher debacle yesterday.

And not because the game will be called after two quarters.

They will win because the Chiefs are not good.
