I'll be the first to say I drooled over Ponder's performance and feel that he is the future. But also, people here needs to realize that we seriously have two good young QBs on this rosters. Yes, both Ponder and Webb. What happened to the "OMG, It's Spiderman Webb" comments? What happened to everyone feeling we had something special in Webb?(And no, not as a WR.) What happened to everyone feeling pretty good about letting Joe Webb start this season if it came down to it.? Yes the Vikings ended up taking Christan Ponder with the 12th pick, but that alone may be the sole reason he's starting right now. Maybe I'm wrong maybe I'm not. I don't think people here can take off their bias purple shades and wrap their minds around Joe Webb actually having AMAZING potentiol to be good at QB. I keep reading comments of people saying that Joe Webb < Christian Ponder based upon their performances when they got the chance to start. I can honestly say I felt as excited about Webb's first performance as Ponder's; however, I think Ponder's fearless playing style gives him the nod. Joe Webb wants to be known as a pocket passer and that sometimes gets him in trouble because he has the lanes to run but sticks in the pocket and try to make a passing play instead. If he gets groomed to just play and not think, he could have some surprising things in store for this team. It doesn't matter that he was drafted with the 199th pick, but it does matter that Ponder was selected with the 12th pick. But an all honest can someone please tell me the cons of accepting that we have TWO good QB's who could possibly do some damage in this league?
