Visanthe Shiancoe Is Not Silent, But Deadly
Lots of players get butterflies in their stomach right before games. Apparently Visanthe Shiancoe had something else rumbling around in his stomach during the national anthem of last Sunday's game against Green Bay. Click the Deadspin link to see exactly what it was.
Hey, at least he warned everyone around him, right?

C'mon, lighten up guys
Earlier in the week you guys rip on me for being too negative, now I’m getting ripped for being too lighthearted. I just can’t win! :)
Personally I thought someone should have said, “Whew! That smells like Donovan McNabb’s quarterbacking!”

I googled for seroius joke and this is what came up:
A Woman was out golfing one day when she hit the ball into the woods. She went into the woods to look for it and found a frog in a trap.
The frog said to her, ‘If you release me from this trap, I will grant you three wishes.’ The woman freed the frog, and the frog said, ‘Thank you, but I failed to mention that there was a condition to your wishes.
Whatever you wish for, your husband will get ten times of it!’ The woman said, ‘That’s okay.’
For her first wish, she wanted to be the most beautiful woman in the world.
The frog warned her, ‘You do realize that this wish will also make your husband the most handsome man in the world, an Adonis whom women will flock to’. The woman replied, ‘That’s okay, because I will be the most beautiful woman and he will have eyes only for me.’ So, KAZAM- she’s the most beautiful Woman in the world!
For her second wish, she wanted to be the richest woman in the world. The frog said, ‘That will make your husband the richest man in the world. And he will be ten times richer than you. The woman said, ‘That’s okay, because what’s mine is his and what’s his is mine.’
So, KAZAM- she’s the richest woman in the world!
The frog then inquired about her third wish, and she answered, ‘I’d like to have a mild heart attack.’
Moral of the story: Women are clever. Don’t mess with them.

The man had a heart attack ten times ‘milder’ than his wife!!!
Moral of the story : Women think they’re really smart …
Let them continue to think that way and just enjoy the show
PS: If you are a woman and are still reading this; it only goes to show that women never listen!!!

Yeah I don't do serious that well.
Especially during a 1-6 season. If we can’t laugh at ourselves…

2011 Vikings, keeping the liquor industry in the green ALL YEAR LONG!
Finally a topic that Eric could really relate to!
I agree, lighten up. Not too much to get serious about with the Vikings this year. Other than watching to see how some of younger players do the rest of the season.
Sure beats the he’ll out of another depressing stadium post.

related to the stadium. Actually saw according to Tom Pellisero(sp?)
That the Vikings have basically dismissed any other location bids other than Arden Hills.

It is kinda disrespectful...
It was right in the middle of the National Anthem…
I understand he’s a pro athlete, but really? You can hear the song in the background and everyone else is trying to be respectful… I think it sheds a bad light on Visanthe Shiancoe. It’s not something that will tarnish his name or anything that major, but it’s something I don’t like to see nonetheless.
its a bodily function
Please don’t make this into an issue when its not

I know Mak..
I totally stand up in respect when they play it on tv…also stood up, hand on my heart, when I saw the attached Shiancoe clip because the National Anthem was playing in the background.
