Obviously, I'd love to see the Vikings have some success this season, and I've been a big proponent of Christian Ponder long before Minnesota started looking at quarterbacks to possibly draft. I think he's going to be a great NFL QB and a true leader, whether it's here in Minnesota or elsewhere.
But I can't help but hope that Minnesota lands once-in-a-decade quarterback stud Andrew Luck and surrounds him with stellar players, so that finally this team might have stability at the game's most important position. And if that means losing more games, so be it.
Assuming, of course, that losing games doesn't run the Vikings out of Minnesota anyway.
